When I was six, I got an idea of how to get free ice cream. I'd pity people into giving me some me ice cream. I'd look for ice cream trucks and once I found one giving out goods, I'd sit on the curb and look sad near a parked truck giving out treats and wait for a kind person to buy an ice cream for me. I did this sometimes, and the only time it ever worked was once when an old lady thought I looked down and decided to pay for my ice cream. She bought me an ice cream and I didn't have to pay a cent despite being able to buy one myself. Right after, I felt gross and awful. I felt like a conniving thief. So, a few days later I found that lady, explained what I really did, gave her most of my weekly allowance, and apologized. Even though I made it up to her completely, I still felt awful and I got nothing in return for making it up. I never did it again. Kindness creators do the exact same thing. Every single day of their lives, they lie and manipulate and steal and don't apologize. They still make it up to the victims, but that doesn't make up for the fact that they're liars, con men, and cheats. They do terrible things to regular, kind people, don't apologize, and instantly get rewarded with floods of money and compliments from imaginary people online and don't feel bad about it at all. I swear these people are not human.
I very much agree with you bro - I helped out a guy yesterday - he didn't have to tell me his whole life story I just wished him well and helped him out - not looking for views or fame from someone who is down and out and just trying to get through life without trouble....there's a very strange thing about those feel good videos where it's a good act but you're capitalizing on it with a platform - will they ever give these people they helped the MILLIONS of dollars because they're pretty much just using them as unpaid actors who get a pittance of what they actually earn and gain from those views and platforms...pretty sickening
I can imagine it does feel gross to do kindness content. I'd be worried that people would see me as a kindness content creator if I were to try this. If you want to do kindness content. Just don't. I saw some kindness content the other day and I went crazy over it.
I think your parody videos highlighted the fact that the majority of this kindness content is completely staged and nobody in real life actually 🎶 🐀 🎹 👹 SYNTH RAT 👹 🎹 🐀 🎶
Thanks for summing up a minute long video. You're really out here doing the lords work. Weird passive aggressive edit, but as long as fake internet points validate you, slay queen.
I don't always agree with you, dadio. But..... FUCKING EXACTLY! If you want to do good, don't film it. Simple as that. Good deeds stand on their own. Besides, how do you think it feels to be down on your luck and have some clout chaser film you? I imagine- like shit. Doing an actual good deed-with NO pat on the back... now that feels good.
I knew a guy out here in LA who does this and offers homeless people a dollar to appear in his "meditation content". When my psychiatrist got my meds wrong and my Pop died he told me it was just Karmic returns. From a family with wealth, obviously. Lol what a monster. Only met the guy because I appeared in his content for free.
i really wanna see scumbag dad do the "we went magnet fishing on a bridge and found a gun/pipebomb/grenade and called the cops" videos that keep showing up
I feel like it's all in the approach if you're looking for free food. If you go into a restaurant and order something and then say you only have $1, they'll probably look at you funny. But, at the right time of day, there's usually free food all to be had. When restaurants and other food vendors are closing up shop for the night, there's usually some food leftover that ends up going to waste. I used to go to the little donut shop up the road from where I lived around 10:50pm because they closed up at 11:00pm. They were always bagging the leftover donuts from the day into the trash when they closed, so it was easy to get a free box of donuts or two. Sometimes I had to buy a donut or two in order to get free donuts ("here, I'll give you a whole dozen for the price of one"), and other times I didn't have spend anything. Sometimes I'd have to inquire about the donuts in a nonchalant manner ("Oh, what are you doing with all the donuts?") and other times they'd straight up ask ("Hey, you want some free donuts? We're just throwing them out anyways"). Usually if I were getting free donuts I'd try to buy something while I was there, such as a drink to go along with them. Pizza places are another good example, especially ones that sell pizza by the slice at the counter. At the right time of day, if you walk in and say "I've got $1, do you have a special I can get?", you can usually get slice. I'm not adverse to asking for a deal. I've done it countless times. It was never gross or weird, and I never felt bad about it.
Depends on where/whom you are asking. I usually go to family owned places, so if u towards closing u can get more for the price. But I went to corporate cake shop that I frequent and ordered my regular lot of pastries. The guy said one of the items was stale/leftover from yesterday. So I ask why not simply take it out? "Because it still has to be on the list/menu until we get a replacement". So I ask if he can sell it to me for a discount (he can't because it's against the policy to sell stale items). What about just giving it to the staff at the end of the day so it wont go waste since they get new products everyday? The guy looks at the camera mounted over his head, "my boss would fire me if I started sampling the items without paying". Basically, the policy is that they should throw away the leftovers even if they are edible rather than settle for anything less than the full price.
@@Furrina89 Yeah, some places are stupid. I was watching someone in the grocery store in the bakery section emptying a cart of bread into the garbage. When I inquired about it, I was told I can't have it for free, I can't buy it for a discount, I just can't have the breed, it must be thrown in the garbage. What a waste of food.
Honestly, I don’t know where your located but where I’m at it’s not like that. Someone needs something they get it. I work in a retail store and I see it all the time as well as participate. I know if the cashier can’t help you the person behind you in line will. Small town life is so much better
Have he done one where he gives someone 500 dollars after they give a candy bar to his child for free (which they only did because it’s Halloween)? It feel like that’d be a good parody one
i watched videos inthe past about people going around college campuses or the street during events like that 2015-2019 era but it was always fun things like "whats the best animal" "are you singer? Do you wanna sing a song in public?" "Hey (@ a yale student) can you answer this question?" Idk those always felt like they were both having fun making the video and its not a weird question and doesnt make the person on the other side look bad. Ive always thought about doing those kinds of things when im older but its become just harrassing people and making them look bad or pathetic
This shit lives in SBdads brain rent free. I feel for him though because the shit eats me up to, these influencers who do this kind of shit are just gross
I do miss the scumbag dad content like we're "we" were put in random places but what your doing is really good and I support this man by leaving one comment
Excuse me, Vietnamese business lady, I need an angel phò. The guy sitting in his car with the blue shirt and sunglasses is getting a little aggressive.
Step 1: "Can I have this sandwich, but I only have a dollar..." Step 2: "Double it and give it to the next person." Step 3: Repeat Step 4: "Excuse me sir, can I have this sandwich for $500?" Step 5: *The Inflationary Trollege incident*
With these kindness influencers im thinking about wearing a facemask or something to obscure my face everywhere cuz i dont wanna appear in these things as a person whos being helped, or one of the people whos having a good day like in that one video from a while ago. I dont wanna be included in them periodt. I like the look of facemasks in general so luckily it wont be entirely for the reason of hiding from kindness content but the fact its contributing to my consideration of wearing one out after covid and shit is absolutely stupid
@@sourabhkarkala343he just outlined it, people going to vulnerable people only for the sake of recording them without their permission and using their tears as a way to get views.
Yeah, kindness content reeks of insecurity to me when people have the best intentions and at worst, it's certainly greed. For people who do it because they need everyone to like them and want to look like good people, just go to a therapist. You can work through your problems without involving random strangers without their consent and it's much safer than interacting with strangers.
Dam bro thats crazy but Long ago🧓🏼, the four nations 🔥💧🌎🌪lived together in harmony⛩🌅. Then everything changed😱 when the Fire Nation attacked🤬🔥. Only the Avatar👨🏼🦲⬇️, master of all four🤓 elements, could stop them. But when the world needed him most🥺🤕, he vanished.✌️🚶🏻♂️🚪 A hundred years passed🧓🏼💀 and my brother and I discovered😳😲 the new avatar👶🏻 An airbender🌪 named Aang👹, and although his airbending skills aregreat he still has a lot to learn🤡 before he’s ready to save anyone.😌 But I believe Aang can save the world.🧢
I really love your content, makes me happy as hell, but this made no sense, you did the thing you're calling out to get a result you already knew, to show to an audience who is already aware. It's like if the anti-scamming channels started scamming grannies just to prove a point. Really missed the mark on this one.
You missed the mark here totally. As Brad just said, we aren't the audience for this video, and he didn't know what the result would be. He also makes a point that calls back to an earlier video of his that most people DON'T want to be recorded and put on RU-vid without their consent. Especially people who are working and people who are extremely vulnerable. Yes his audience are aware of the issue, but we don't know what it's like to actually go out and do this ourselves. 1:17
What's sanctimonious about it? Because he believes people shouldn't be exploited at their lowest points so some clout goblin can farm money from people?
