I was just channeling my inner Bob this weekend, telling my daughter about happy little accidents while she was working on her first acrylic painting. It came out great, I hope we made Bob proud.
I did something similar where i tried to make seasoned bean sprouts and they were so bad i just rinsed them off and ate them as rinsed seasoned beansprouts.
At home when my gran cooks food, if the potatoes gets a bit mush she just makes them into curry and adds the other stuff so it still stays good to eat with rice, your idea is also amazing lisa!!!
I love how you encourage me to not see 'mistakes' as failures. They could just be pivotal moments for something else. This might sound a bit much but, for someone who suffers from anxiety, this is a very soothing reminder. Thanks, Lisa! ❤️
Hey Lisa! A quick tip: if you’re cubing your potatoes so small, you can actually just throw them straight into the pan. As they toast up they cook through! If you want to you can even add a splash of water and steam them while they’re roasting. Also- I would add the onions first just because they take longer to cook. Then you don’t risk burning your garlic and getting that gross burnt taste. No hate Much love keep being you!!
“Failure” is mandatory on the road to understanding and learning, that looks like a great big latke, though I would have added the garlic near the end until fragrant, nice idea of broiling it, and your presentation was super!
Best thing about your channel, you never pretend everything went perfect and say what you improvised and what you'd do differently next time, keep it up
Hey Lisa... please make a video compilation of all of your sauce recipes And please make a sauce recipe, which is very simple yet tasty, BUT very spicy. Also, I've been watching you since last 5 months now, and i love your videos!!!hope ur channel blows up even more.
Add vinegar to boil water and cook the potatoes in oil in a wide pawn seperate from onions and garlic once potatoes are crisp reintroduce the onions and garlic and sausage
If you want moisture to evaporate from your food during cooking then use a wide frying pan with low sides. Higher sides like a saucepan traps steam and prevents crisp browning. :) I am also super jealous of those sausages, can't get things like that here.
She should have never boiled the potatoes to begin with especially since she took the skins off.. they should have been cooked solely in a wide pan with oil. You do not boil potatoes unless you're literally making mashed potatoes or a potato salad
Lol you really just needed more oil but hey at least it turned out edible 💕 and you didn’t give up! (I guess maybe drying the potatoes out in the oven then frying them could work too!)
I love it when her first reaction when she makes something that tastes good is “Is my brain tricking me into thinking its good?” “Am i just too tired so it tastes good?”
