I found this INCREDIBLE detailing product while visiting JAPAN! 

Well, I used this product for the first time on a Red, 2003 Mach 1 Mustang that had Zymol Carbon Wax as it primary protection. This stuff works as promised! It removed the wax and sealant with little effort, making the surface perfectly clean for the new wax. I highly recommend this product if you want to save time and backache!

Finally there's an expensive product to remove the expensive products off my expensive car.

I can’t wait to try this! I can see this being added to a decontamination process before paint correction. I’d assume there would be less gunk in the pads, potentially providing a better finish and not needing to blow them out as much. I’d also assume the result if I use this to strip off toppers from my coating wouldn’t be very exciting. I shouldn’t notice a big change in water behavior since I’m no longer seeing the toppers effects, but rather the coatings.

I've been looking for a product like this for a while. Look forward to trying it.

Products like these are great. We've been using wax off from fireball for the past year and it's same thing. We love it!!

I REALLY wanna see the overcoat 5.0 video. I was casually doing research on how exactly graphene makes a sealant stronger. I learned that really it doesn't do much, other than the occasional chance to have the graphene bond to itself while applying, creating a pseudo graphene structure. The over coat 5.o however use specifically Carbon Nanotubes which has proven itself with studies that it increases the strength, chem resilience, but most specifically it adds a super UV protection because of the nanotubes specifically. Really excited to see the nanotube tech getting into a ceramic coating.

Interesting product! I wonder how well it fares against low-dilution/strong APCs or citrus cleaners. In the video it looked like it performed close to 10x as good as generic APCs in stripping coatings, is that roughly how it is in reality?

I’ve seen on other sites it says you can use this with a DA machine. They say to add a few drops to a fine polishing pad. Would you recommend this and would it help to strip a coating that way maybe?

What is in this stuff that allows it to remove some pro level coatings?

Awesome! This is almost similar to korean premium detailing product, Fireball Paintwork Cleaner. Been using it for years & yes, it's the fastest way to strip wax and almost any other paint sealant applied

Is it safe to use on matte paint/ppf? For example, I want to try another ceramic coating, different brand. Will it be enough to apply on my existing coating to remove it and start with fresh coating?

Hey Todd, I applied Gyeon Synchro on my black Mercedes. I was out of town and rain left some sort of water spots/ staining. Was not hard water from washing but the actual rain dirt that stained it. What do you recommend I use to remove it?

Is it really so much different from anything else out there? What about Meguiar‘s Wash Plus? Or the Fireball Paintwork Cleanser / Wax Off?

There are quite a number of videos on You Tube several years ago showing Adams Strip Wash "failing" to remove Turtle Wax Seal 'N Shine. Presumably Kamakaze NO 5 wil remove Seal "n Shine with a sinle application?

Hey Todd. I enjoy using Gyeon Products. I got an old layer of Gyeon Q2 Trim and would like to reapply a new a new coat. Could I use this product to remove my old coating. Or should I keep this product away from my plastic trims?

Meguiars wash plus does Also very good job for strip wax sealant and seems to attack ceramic seriously Works also with micro abrasive and chemical, seems to be same kind of product

So seeking some clarity here please Todd. Would No.5 remove toppers (Gyeon WetCoat, OverCoat, waxes), but not remove/impact more permanent coatings such as Gyeon CanCoat? For example, I added CanCoat EVO and topped with OverCoat 5.2 after a few months, I then use No.5. What would remain after?

I messed up when putting on my ceramic coating and got haze all over some panels. Can this product save me from re polishing the panels ?

It would be interesting to apply a coating high spot let it cure and test this products abilitys.

Can this be used to strip protection off matte paint? That seems to be biggest gap in product industry

First question: Todd, is the product to use on a new car before the first coating? If not, what is? I learned about the video yesterday (6/9) while talking to Kurt about waxes. One of my concerns all along with coatings is eventual removal for reapplication and removal if you mess it up. This solves both concerns. So I started looking at coatings. But there is still one concern yet. Another concern: What do I use to remove bugs from a coated car? I don't want to wash the car every time I go out. Today with a wax coating on my daily driver I use detail sprays. With coatings that option is out. I live in SW Arizona and a 40 mile drive will pick up a lot of bugs, moths, butterflies, bees, etc. I take them off the painted surfaces after every drive. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.

What an incredible product!!! If you don't want to but a $500 RUBE polisher to remove waxes and sealants, even ceramic coatings.

It seems to be contradictory to what we’ve learned about coating “resets”. A full cleaning brings hydrophobic properties back (unless the coating is toast) but this gets rid of the hydrophobic action. I guess it would make me question what’s been left behind (ie residue) And perhaps I’ve totally missed something.

Hello! We recently switched to microfiber pads for paint correction, we were very use to foam as it’s the only thing we used up until recently. We found that microfiber tends to make the entire paint correction process faster. However we ran in to an issue while using them. It seems it gets too hot and burned the backing plate on one of our rupes bigfoot 21s, we then switched the backing plate and it happened again almost immediately. I was hoping you could give us some advise on what is going on? I believe it may be getting to hot but I’m unsure how to avoid that when we are only using 2-3 passes. Thank you in advance!

Seems difficult to distinguish between a product that is covering existing water behavior and a product that is flat out removing all chemical traces of the coating.

It sounds like this could compromise coatings near the end of their life.

I want to believe in this product but without any Safety Data Sheet and ingredient breakdown I won't apply something to my car blindly. There is no answer on how the "mechanical micro abrasives" affect the clear coat. What are the "chemical cleaners"? What are the "mechanical micro abrasives and chemical cleaners"? Too vague for me. The only other review I could found was from Brian at Apex Detail, who I respect. Brian gave the product an excellent review but he said he "doesn't know what is in the bottle", "lost in translation". Given Kamikaze's history of poor customer service and lack of product detail ingredient transparency, I would not advise anyone to use this or any similar product until more fully vetted. Just because someone says something, doesn't make it true. I'd like to see a more scientific approach to marketing a product like this, as it could potentially be harmful to the cars paint as well as the user (no SDS). I'll wait for a more credible company to develop something similar. Lastly, $25 for the application mitt? I don't think so. This is just my opinion.
