I had heard of Dave Ramsey but Never watched before, I wrongly assumed he would be a hateful man that told everyone how stupid they were for their poor financial choices, this channel popped up in my suggested videos and I was like Wow, this guy is so cool, very wise, very blunt and tells ya like it is, yet also so kind and compassionate, I’m totally hooked now, going to binge watch, I also just subscribed to the channel to learn more 😊❤

To those mocking him, he is right to be fearful; fearful of any character flaws he may have. Money takes whatever you are and stomps on the gas pedal. This is why lottery winners are almost all in ruins or dead from overdoses. All of you could have listened instead of accusing him of gloating.

@@reese85 okay, better example… doctors. They make little to nothing for years and then suddenly get a gigantic raise. This is from hard work mind you, and most doctors are terrible stewards of their money. Lottery winners are just a more extreme example to get the point across, but that wasn’t good enough for you. I laughed at the idea of eating out being the antithesis of family dinner. In our house anyway, my wife and I use restaurants as a way to keep everyone corralled together for a full hour! No "I have this homework thing" or running off to the bathroom for 15 minutes. The kids are just stuck with us!

I understand what this gentleman is saying. I think there are those who are Christ's disciples that truly have an unbiblical view of money. Just like alcohol, it is not the drink that is a sin: it is drunkenness. I would encourge to study the topic of money through the Scriptures and you will find yourself probably having a very different perspective. Money is a good thing: the love of money is a sin. We are to love God with all our heart, soul, strength and mind, and love our neighbor as ourselves. That is the correct focus of our love.
@mister.Ed1
@mister.Ed1 Год назад
Wrong money is a tool. If I can have enough not to worry about bills. I can live independently instead of in a one bedroom apartment with a married couple and a child. I would be happy and have peace. Your right it does not have the power to create values in my family, so that is exactly why I avoid my family. If that is so true Dave what you just stated give away 80% of your wealth you won't do it.

People give money power over their lives and loved ones. Money can’t conquer your life if you first put something or someone above it which in some of our lives is God and family. If you understand the principle of blessings and live in deep gratitude your entire life you begin to value the little things. Your view on money and materialistic things of the world begin to be of lesser importance than the people you help and love.
