Just something we learned from many years of pulling horse trailers. When attaching the two safety chains to the tow hitch, cross your chains so they are attached on opposite sides from the trailer and the pickup. It will cut down on the sway in case there is ever a reason for their use. Just a suggestion, and just something we always do. By the way... had to bite the bullet and deal with a car salesman last week when we purchased a new pickup. Husband has no patience with their long winded sales lines. Glad when the day was done and we could get out of there.

The first time they all got out is when you left them in that triangle. Because after you left; the pig opened the gate, he kept dragging it with him - and that's when they all escaped!! I could'nt quit laughing ....you - pig and the goats! That's to funnier of an ending of how the pig got away!!!LOL.WAY TO FUNNY......AND A WINNING RUN FOR HOUSTON....YEA!

If you do go back for the pig…build a ramp for the trailer, take a lot of sweet feed and a jug of milk, let the pig get just a taste of that feed with milk in it, then coax it up the ramp with the pan of feed. My pigs bout ran me over to get in the trailer when I did this

This was the greatest video. Laughing watching this. My husband retired in Oct 2020 and ordered a brand new truck. He was trying to figure out why he needed a new truck since he was retired now. Ordering it close to the end of the yr we got lucky and got over $10,000 in rebates.

You made a good call with passing on the lifted pickup. We got one because it was the right price and it is better than nothing but it does make everything harder. If I could easily do it I would put it back down to stock height.

That truck reminds me of the old 1975 Ford my dad had when I was a kid. It wasn't "jacked up" but was fairly high off of the ground because of the way I think Ford did 4WD back then. My mom is only 5'1" and I remember her having to climb up in it.

My dad used to load pigs into the back of a truck with a ramp. I’m sure if you made a little ramp to go into the back of a trailer you could get him in a lot easier. Put some board up the side so you can push him up if you have to. Good luck!

Trailer hook up trick. Had an old truck driver show me this. When he parked his trailer, he put a rock next to his left rear tire of the truck. When he came back, he backed up to the rock. It gets you I within an inch or two from where you need to be. We use this when hooking up to our goose neck trailers.

Rough start to the day, car dealership *shudder/cringe*, then Houston saving the day with a great run! That truck reminded me of a friend's Bronco in the 80's. I hit my full height at 17-five feet tall. The friend literally bought a short rope ladder for me & my BFF to get into his truck😄😄😄
