Hisense U88G (Canada) 55" user here- the ARC does not work at all... but crazy enough, it used to. I think it was after I loaded and played an Xbox360 game after not using the console in a long time (and that was also after the newest FW update-- I forget the code). I'd love to be able to use it again and the other issue that is a weird one also affects sound. I use HDR, 120hz and 4k through my PC into my U88G via HDMI and the sound will sometimes get all scratchy and crackle, but it last for about 10 seconds and then resets and works fine... until it happens again. I'm usually watching RU-vid when it happens, so I wonder if it's actaully the tv though, but it definitely has happened on other sources as well. Weird.
It’s an issue I heard people experiencing after M0210 with cracking, popping, or audio drop outs via eARC. M0422 is coming soon and corrects it, and so far I have no issues on the newest firmware. I double the Xbox would have impacted it, but you also never know sometimes 🤷♂️ Fixes are coming though based on feedback I’ve been reading online and with my personal testing.
I say the only thing is colors google assistant and thats pretty much it the main issue is that they need to fix colors there not as vibrant at 120 hz I have the u7g btw
Hisense just released 0422 they sent the version through messenger. According to some other people they release the same one OTA. I checked with the Hisense and they said this was true it was released on Friday and will roll out.
I bought a U8G from Amazon and was pumped they fixed some of the issues, wont help me though as the screen was cracked in about 4 places when I plugged it in :( New one will be here Tuesday, I have a 3080ti and plan to run it as my monitor and will report back if I have any issues.
how can I get 4k 120hz on my tv, I have a ps5 and Hisense 65 u8g with enhanced HDMI format, and my ps5 settings are all good and on automatic, so is anything I can do to get 120hz? i’m stuck with 60hz
Have you enabled 120hz within the specific game you’re playing? Most if not all games will launch in 60Hz unless you change the settings while in game.
Hi Hisense Guy... U7G here. With the tv off sometimes but not always the Google assistant will NOT respond to me trying to turn on the TV. Everything else is going well. TIA
Can I have everything active while playing on a PS5 or a PC, like 4k 120hz, VRR and local dimming HDR on that TV?? I have seen videos in which they show that the local dimming does not work well with the VRR but I do not know if after updates problems like that have been solved
Local dimming does not work with Freesync specifically; however, it will work with hdmi level variable refresh rate. I am currently running both my ps5 (post ps5 update) and Xbox series X with LD and VRR successfully.
Hello I have a u8g 65 and I've been having a lot of problems on Xbox series x with long black vertical lines appearing on the screen blinking randomly. Any idea on what this problem may be and how to fix it I have a few days left before I can return the TV
Make sure you’re using hdmi 3 or 4 and a certified hdmi 2.1 cable. I’ve heard of tons of issues from people Using the factory cable that came with the console. Lastly, make sure you’re using hdmi enhanced. I have a couple videos in my playlist discussing best practices for setting on your console with this tv
@@qwazyd0gg I've done all of the above I'm going to keep trying I also sent you a short video via Twitter maybe you can look at thank you for your help
Hi, running 65" U7G with Onkyo NR5100 everything was perfect till MO210 update problems have been the same as everyone else reports no Google assistant with tv in standby, Dull HDR colors, Active Contrast changed nothing no matter what setting it was on, did a full factory reset after seeing you video on solutions for M0210 fixed dull HDR for about 2 weeks then after powering tv back on after power outage the colors went dull again, been checking for new update others are mentioning in the comments but no luck so far, also might be just me but audio goes static sounding from time to time while using certain apps powering tv off and back on fixes it for a while didn't have problem till M0210
Have you tried another factory reset since the outage? M0414 and M0422 (OTA version of the beta) corrects a lot of that stuff and will be covered in the video for you. For the 5100, are you using eARC or connecting directly to the receiver?
@@qwazyd0gg got it. Thank you. Is this M0210 update available for the 55" model? I am suppose to get my 55" television in a few days. Still trying to figure out which update is the best. I don't have a console. It will be for movie and streaming viewing.
Yes it is. M0210 was great aside from the dim hdr in 120hz and Google assistant issues. M0422 should be out in the coming weeks that has said to have fixed those issues. I’m currently testing that update now.
so does anyone have a solution for the video coming in ahead of the audio? I have a soundbar with atmos and have the Hisense set to dolby digital plus to take advantage of it.
@@qwazyd0gg all the features are to slow down the audio to match the video, nothing works the other way around. Now if I put it on pass-through they sync, but then I lose atmos and Hisense lip sync is grey out
can you make a test at rtx30xx gpu and set up to 4k 120hz, turn on vrr setting, run any game to check. is that 4k 120hz with vrr feature working together(with local dimming)
@@qwazyd0gg thanks. Because I just have 2080ti. can not test by myself. but I am kind of confused. what is hdmi VRR. should I turn on gpu pannel gysnc to on. in game. if turn vsync to off. hdmi VRR will working?
It’s a version of variable refresh rate built into hdmi 2.1, that unlike gsync and Freesync, doesn’t add any potential input lag. It’s not as good, but serves the same purpose more or less
Are you in NA or International? If you’re in Canada or US, I have other tutorials showing you how to enable it. If you’re outside of those regions, the international models only support 60Hz via hdmi.
on M0210 I found motion to be great; however, I have noticed slightly motion issues on M0414 on 1080P SDR content. Might be the source quality too; however, I watched the previous season of the same show on the last software and it seemed much better.
My tv when in 4k 120hz on pc. it flickers from bright to dim when playing games. But in 4k 60hz everything is perfect. Also I wish more info and testing done in 4k 120hz for pc/console. like the pros and cons. also If I knew this tv wont do 4k 120 hdr. I would have saved for one that could. seems to be almost nothing out there.
Try setting your output setting to rgb @ 120hz 4K in Nvidia control panel. That’s what I did and I had no issues personally. HDR will also work in 120hz with update M0414 and M0422 when it is released possibly next week as they corrected the hdr glitch.
Thank you for always being constant with the videos regardless of market Bull / Bear. Holders are probably confuse on what to do next but truth is If you stay invested and ignore the market's ups and downs, you'll make a lot of money in the long run, that’s why it’s better to trade than to hodl. I’ve made more than 12 BTC trading with Kennet Gibbs
