I ordered DISNEY ANIMATED Cakes from 1 vs. 5 star Bakeries 

I love how the 5 star Sleeping Beauty cake was aesthetically accurate, but the 1 star cake radiated pure unhinged chaotic energy that rivals even that of the film

Honestly the one star bakery did good for the sleeping beauty one. They went for making it look as close as possible to the picture

In Sleeping Beauty the animated cake is 16 layers of unbaked frosted cake sliding. The white areas are unfrosted cake. The 1 star bakery did a great job recreating it almost exactly.

I feel like the 1 star sleeping beauty cake would be exactly what the cake would look like in the real world. If it wasn't a cartoon it would definitely look like that

I would be SO angry if I received a plate of fondant rather than actual deserts covered in fondant. There is no excuse for that.

The 1 star cake was closer to the original. The 5 star cake doesn't look anything like the original. It's not supposed to be wax it's supposed to look like frosting.

The Beauty & Beast platter versions. In all fairness the 1 star bakery gave you fully edible cake and pastries vs the 5 star giving you everything fondant to chew on. Play-doe would have saved you money. Just saying.

Am i the only one who didn't like the sleeping beauty cake from the 5 stars bakery ? Like if i went to a nice place and asked them to recreate the cake and they gave me that i would be so dissapointed and mad, it looks nothing like the animated cake. Like i know it can't look exactly the same but ? The cake they made looks so small ? And like i would get making the cake smaller to be able to make it look more bent, but it doesn’t even look bent at all ! All in all i just thinks it looks bad ? I would have expected that result from a small budget bakery.

The Sleeping Beauty 1 star cake looked much better than the 5 star one and resembled the cake in the movie more.

thé 5 star sleeping beauty cake interpreted the image more than recreated which I think is fine and the colours were SO PERFECT for real life. The one star said “we’re gonna give him EXACTLY what asked for” lmaoooo

the first cake from the sleeping beauty, the 5 star was animated enough but they should have stacked it like the 1 star bakery.

The 5star cake has nothing in common with the sleeping beauty cake beside the colors and the 1star is really authentic....

Sleeping Beauty cake... I'm just gonna be honest about the visual aspect! You may have asked for an animated version, but truth is the 1⭐ gave you the real deal in tilt! They could have tried harder with the dripping of the icing? But they got the animated flow correct!

If the 1 star bakery had frosted the sides of the 1st cake before putting the layers together with the blue icing, it would have been perfect! They really came much closer to the disney image!

i feel like all the five star ones were more focused on making sure the cakes looked good than actually getting as close to the picture as possible. also i like that the one star bakery used actual pastries for the grey stuff and not just fondant or something

The grumpy pie from the 5 star didn't pay attention to the details of what you asked. They deserve a 1 star for that. They literally gave you their version of an apple pie looking cake. Where as the 1 star bakery gave you what you asked for. Very 3D and animated. They deserve a 5 star rating

The 1 star sleeping beauty cake is much better than the 5 star cake. The 5 star one looks like it's covered in melted crayons and smothered in fondant. The 1 star cake is so much more accurate to the movie and actually looks EDIBLE.

Honestly the one star bakery did the best. Why would I order a whole plate of fondant. Although they did not make an actual apple pie but it looks how you wanted it to and looks delicious. And the sleeping beauty cake was way more accurate.

for the one star tier cake, the exposed layers look would've been much better if they had carved off the caramelization so it was just that pale colored cake like in the movie. Otherwise I feel like they did a good job. The 5 star pastry platter, I'm sorry, I would've sent that back. When I order from a bakery, I expect to be able to eat what I buy, and I don't want to eat a hunk of rolled fondant.

I think the 1 star hit the nail on the head with this cake.... it’s supposed to look bad, and the three play dough looking layers of the 5 star did not do it for me. The 1 star is what that cake would be in real life.

Honestly I would have been pissed about getting the plate of fake food from the five Star bakery because of the fact that none of it was actually physically edible like I get using fondant and stuff over the cake to make it look real but the fact they literally just gave you straight fondant and no Rice krispie treat or anything like a lot of places do like it was literally just straight up fondant is absolutely ridiculous and I would definitely ask my money back because that was not even remotely edible.

The biggest difference between the 5 star and the 1 star plate of gray stuff is that you can actually eat the 1 star bakery's take on it. The 5 star one is beautiful, but it's ALLLLLL fondant. I said this before I knew that he did a taste test. Guess I called it 😅

I really hope you leave good reviews for the 1 stars.... Lots of mom and pop bakeries can't afford for anyone but the owner to work that's even remotely skilled enough. Poor bakeries mean fewer mixers, supplies, etc. Boost their ratings!

But- The 1 Star cake did it way better. It shows the individual layers. The 5 star cake just chose 3 "bigger" cakes. Like, yeah, the decorations like the broom and the candles etc look better but the 1 star cake looks better. Also, it's not supposed to look like melted wax because the candles are pink and the frosting that's melting is blue.
