Sure but I would reckon he was one of the better players on the lodge live. The games there are super good aswell. But he definetly played in one of the tougher lodge games. Usually people playing are much crazier than in his game.
Lexo, I love your honest evaluation of your game! I also love your ability to not lose your coolness. Your positive attitude is your strongest asset in my opinion! Love the videos bro! Keep up the grind and the videos!!!
Champions club is a solid stream. Definitely one of my favorites with the lodge. HCL is ok when they have special events like the MDG but if you are interested in realistic stakes champions is worth a watch
Nice, Lex. Also, makes a person appreciate the lighting of Lodge Casino's set/room. It's really night and day, the attention Lodge puts into their set, as it presents on video, so much brighter.
Gl lex cheering for you and your tenacity is great! I love fitness and poker as well. Very inspiring brother! Hoping to see ya in Hollywood one day but I only go there for the late fall/winter I think harrahs is having a smaller WSOP, maybe a meet up game in the future after you crush around the south brotha.
Hey, hey, look, Lex, sometimes I do have a small snooze, but for the majority, I do pay attention, honest lol. You take your pelicans and teach 'em to fly xDD
Really feel like you didn't have to raise with the A2 and the AK hand. Seems like you lit $4k on fire for no reason. Just call and minimize your losses those 2 hands.
The A2 off is just a fold, if you get flatted, which you most likely will since they still have nit buttons and they have position, you have abysmal playability on almost every possible board
"I was happy to show I had reraised pre with ace-2 os so they would remember this and call me light" Couple hands later: "I 4bet with queen-9 because I felt my raise should get a lot of respect as I was known to mainly raise with strong hands" Hmmmmmm On the hand where a King was exposed pre and you had K-Q vs Outlaws Ace high...I really liked your reasoning all the way through, and your analysis of his likely holdings on the river with the card removal of your KQ and the king exposed, was spot on. You mentioned throughout the hand how you had already judged him quite capable of bluffs, and even big bluffs. I just didn't understand why you tanked so long and almost talked yourself into a fold!
I love how you compliment the staff and the location and the Livestream crew and the accommodations when you win.. but you never speak kindly like that when you lose... Just hilarious 😂to me.. all class when we win...4:00-4:12
Hawk same here I drive OTR and play poker every chance I get. The road gets boring and the country starts to get small. It's easy for lex to say he likes it cause he's not driving long miles on a regular basis. If you don't do it for a living it is fun! 😂
Just wanna shout the truckers in this comment section. I appreciate you all no matter race or religion… you make the world go round keep doing your thing we make this possible rabbit or domino you are responsible for this vlog! How else if you don’t………..
Im gonna catch at ya dania or hardrock one of these days. Losing is part of the game. If it wasnt everyone would play. Keep on doing your thing just remember to keep learning.
Lex, I heard you were going to the Beau Rivage, I wish I had known what day you were going to be there ….. I live in MS and play there a couple times a week. It would have been fun to sit at your table but I guess I missed it. Come back to the Beau anytime ! 👍👍
You mentioned production value, which it’s nice to have a roaming cam operator, but they have way too many lights above. They could’ve easily gone with two lanterns.
You know I am a long time fan! So dude stop living in the past! You WERE on the tighter side, at this point you are just behind Rampage! (And I think he is playing tighter lately 😂).
Calling for the 10 and the 6 is pretty nice but at the original Champion’s in Houston, a guy called all three cards on the flop, called the turn, and called the river in a tournament. I know how fishy it sounds but it was legit and he was calling out ideal cards for his hand and that’s what came out. It was cool to see.
Keep running it once. It matters. People going for draws will get punished for chasing. And they only get one shot at it. After a few bricks they’ll stop chasing and start folding.
Hey lex! Just curious when you loose 52k does the thought ever run through your mind to end it… not trying to be rude. I lost 11k in one night it took me months to get out of the mind set to not just end everything.. . Just curious how you handle the big loses
If you play 8 hrs there you get a free room and if you play 4 hrs i think its 70$ a night, but my buddy said there 2/5 games are horrible, lmk if thats changed or not true but it looks like an awesome facility
I believe that your "weak" post flop bets are exploitable. If you are willing to call an all in with a not so great hand, then you should probably bet strong with it first. But.... I could be wrong. Im just a low stakes player.
@Lexopoker how do you feel about people who follow your content coming up to you and saying hi? I live in the area and have seen you around a few times.
Hi there. Thx for the content. I am unfamiliar rake structure in USA. Could you tell about the rake % and if there is a cap etc? Good luck for the next session! 🍀
Poker rooms in Texas charge membership fees (making the card room a private club) and an hourly fee (thus, avoiding forbidden rake). This allows them to fall into legal territory.
