I'll miss the 1 hour long ranked sessions vs the same opponent, but I love the ranked videos we have now in tekken 8 against a variety of opponents, keep up the good work mainman!
Pauls ultimate moves are being able to summon a brick wall out of nothing anywhere at will and the ability to somehow ride a motorcycle all the way too the top floor of Mishima building.
This is a nice video. I'm a new player after 20 years away (T3 was my last one) and I'm maining my boy Paul from the olden days, but its so hard now, but this video gives me some idea to how you play and what to look for in my rank grind :)
It started at 20:00. The inexperience of the steve player was him wanting max dmg combo and not considering to stop immediately when paul’s shoulder hit the wall (side wall splat) instead of trying max damage. When you see a side wall splat, stop and position yourself for an advantage point for a YOUR 50/50 or oki setup. Works every time. I have a vid on my channel from t7 called “over a low parry” and i did ss3 as soon as the bryan player tried to get and do something after being side wall splatted.
This is what’s so good about Paul. You only do two mix up moves. One is going to get you or one is going to get you. You can’t escape 50/50 unless you want to risk it with a armored move
Like I'm watching this and I just dont get it like I'm barely able to move around and maybe light jab but usually just get hit and enter combo hell or spam hell
I've been playing tekken for over 24 years. Paul with out a doubt is a skill check character for his opponents. He hits ridiculously hard with low effort.
8:40 people trying to say azucena is overpowered definitely have yet to use her or go through the movelist.. she has no jailing moves besides down 1 . She can give pressure without throwing in a 18 gram startup move and if you do hit it’s gonna be plus 4 the running 3 2 is +5 but is countered by staying on the ground on knockdowns
I wonder if i should bother with tekken 8 at all since they seem to remove more of the netural game movement in favor of mashing buttons for pressure or combos aka unga bunga.

@@bennymountain1 I assume you’re not the smartest human on this planet. I asked for an input device that peaks higher than the others this has absolutely nothing to do with a „shortcut“. I didn’t ask for the most broken & cheesiest character to play
@@johnmason3244 😂😂. Leverless is going to be the meta once it's fully understood. A Hitbox model because it's a bit hard to do slide techniques on WASD type buttons, not impossible. It works for a wide variety of characters and the many techniques you can achieve with hard work is VrVr great.
Unfortunetly his attitude sometimes flies over his head. Especially if he doesnt like certain characters like yoshi or hwo. Who is he to judge lol. People play what they like.

Win streaks in general are just an asshole thing to brag about. Especially when you play the game for a living. Like if you weren’t having long streaks, you would really really suck at your job. He will on the one hand complain unga bunga capo, but how is demo man death fist u/f 2 Paul,any more skilled.
As somebody who doesnt really follow TMM that much, this is a stark shift from what im used to with his content But ykno, everbody has their pet peevee, you cant expect everyone to constantly react positively all the time
im wonder how u do it all the time same ranks all lover me all the time bigest ranks +1 min max 4-5 and im 100% sure there is a big diference betwen destroyer and battle ruler any way you techniqe is very good. DOnt tell me you chosse easy way to search opponents?you dont have ANY?at option
Paul is disgusting. I really struggle to bear people playing him. His low is so quick and leads to big damage. Feels like he only has to touch you couple times and it’s over
Deliberately avoiding ranked on your strongest character so that you can streak on new players by starting at green on every other character (and then using said streak to clickbait) is kinda scummy.
@@gaigeriel If he played any substantial amount of ranked on Kazuya (or any character he plays really), all of his characters would be auto-placed at a higher rank than he is at the end of this video and he'd never get to beat up on completely new players again. Instead, he's resetting his rating to green ranks over and over to style on new players for content.
If u live in america. Play tekkwn about 2 to5 in the morni g est. I play and baet alot of japanese players. These guys have 1000s of wins and they dont know who i be!. I win and they quit. .
