This speaks to me. Started on Jack3d in 2011. Had a massive caffeine and pre workout addiction ever since. Now I'm almost 30 days clean from caffeine. It's been hard but starting to see benefits
Same here, my consumption started with jack3d, 15 years taking a lot o caffeine! quit caffeine is the best thing, improves a lot my anxiety, digestion problems, sleep pattern.I dont know why we did it to our body, thats sad. Thanks for sharing
I need to make a serious effort to quit caffeine. I've been binge watching these types of videos and the effects of caffeine that people describe in videos sounds a lot like what I've experienced. My coffee addiction started around 18 years ago when I was on weight loss plan. I was on that plan for 8 months, lose nearly 100 lbs and during that time, I could only drink water, tea, coffee (no sugar but stevia) and diet sodas. Since coming off of that diet, I've never been able to shake the addiction. I usually give-in after the headaches start. I'll get it this time, though.
You'll notice how different foods make you feel. Caffeine masks how low quality food affects your energy levels. I wish you luck. I noticed that L-Tyrosine helps with weening. I drink "Swiss Water Process" decaf coffee still, it's my compromise.
7 days caffeine free and so far I'm loving it. At one point today at work, I felt like id been drinking coffee, and I was happy to remember that I hadn't, I feel like I have my natural energy back, looking forward to longer time without coffee to see how good this gets after drinking caffeine for 40 years

I'm assuming you mean how many hours I was sleeping before quitting caffeine? If so, roughly falling asleep at say 11:30-12:00 pm and waking up at 8:00am. Sos till getting 7-8 hours, but it was disrupted most nights which meant I wasn't getting as much deep sleep. Now I'm getting 7-8 hours of deep sleep, falling asleep at 10:00am ish and waking up at 6:30am ish.
The longest I have gone without caffeine was 14 days. Then I picked it right back up. I quit caffeine for three days, then had a cup of coffee on day three. It was like I was in a dream state. But the crash was definitely real. I would love to quit coffee. I think I would have to take two days off work, maybe two weeks off work to make it happen. I also have children who are in school. So I definitely use it as my daily pick me up. Ha ha ha hello, my name is Captain excuses. I do hope to quit caffeine one day. At least just quit drinking coffee. Because caffeine is still in delicious chocolate. And other things.
@@skinnyfatspecialist ok I blew it and bought a cup of coffee a couple of days ago it smelled so good, I had a few sips and it made me feel weird so I put it in the refrigerator, I had a few sips the next day I don't even know why, I hate to waste things I guess. . . finally today I threw it out today is day 1 of no coffee at all! and I feel slightly depressed
@@user33housecats You're only human bro, none of us are perfect, so don't beat yourself up too much. Ever second is a new opportunity to start. Don't put too much pressure on yourself either. Maybe walk a different route where you won't get the smell of coffee slithering up your nostrils. Just an idea.
Take all the time you want to taper off, be very calculated and gradual, the transition will be very gentle, then be patient the full effects may take months after your off
