I'm getting questions about my Fit Bit and it's gold band. So here are the links: My Fit Bit: amzn.to/39szV5g My Gold Fitbit Band: amzn.to/2Q5V51B

Has the gold color chipped/wore off the band? I bought a similar one from Amazon and the color started chipping off and now doesn’t look so nice.

My mom harped on me about the same exact thing...."don't ever cut anything but fabric with your sewing scissors"! I have to keep mine hidden away, because the cheap dollar store ones for paper and crafts always seem to go missing.

I highly recommend getting a rotary cutter and mat! Cutting knit fabric with scissors tends to make it wonky. You can cut it super straight without it getting stretched if you use a rotary cutter.

I loved watching this video! The dresses turned out 👌🏻! A tip from me- once you have your pattern exactly right take a piece of fabric that you don’t want to use (old double knit is perfect 😂) and make your pattern out of fabric. It’s stays put and you can leave your kitchen knives in the drawer. 😉 Seriously, you can cut a dress in less than half the time. Great video, as always.

Hi Megan! I used the neckline video you referenced to finish a dress today, and it worked perfectly! I left a comment on her video. The first modest dress video you made inspired me so much that I made a dress from it, but I couldn’t figure out the neckline, so I repurposed the fabric for something else. Today I used a dolman-sleeve type “pattern” I made from a favorite shirt and a favorite skirt silhouette, and that combined with the neckline tips made the pattern work so PERFECTLY that I’m going to make a couple more summer dresses. Thank you so much for inspiring me! I’ve never been able to follow professional pattern, and this type of method speaks my language! I think your sewing videos are my favorite. Thanks again, Megan!!!

Love the sewing videos. Would like to see some crafting from time to time. If you’ve got the pattern adjusted to perfection and think you’ll be using it time and time again, I’ve found that making a pattern on just plain old interfacing or stabilizer will give you a pattern you can use time and time again that’s very durable.
