I was kind of the same, I liked regular clubs but I didn't feel like it was anything special, but when I went to my first underground club/event, it was very very life changing. I've always loved music, but had no friends that shared my passion for music as much as I did, and I didn't really find regular clubs that special. With underground clubs and raves, I've found friends and a community that loves you for you, loves music the same as you, and doesn't care who you are as long as you're nice and friendly with everyone around you. Socializing in these places kind of restores my faith and happiness.
