Well done. The results and benefits you’ve experienced seem to be very common amongst Vegans that move to a animal foods diet. I would strongly recommend cutting out the fruits and get your body to be completely “fat-adapted” and then you will notice significant benefits in the gym. I row 5-6 times a week and have been carnivore for 11 months. At about three months (and not eating any fruits or veggies at all) I noticed a shift in my performance and results on the rowing machine. Keep it up 👍

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, I play some sports that require explosiveness and carbs seem to be the best fuel for that! Otherwise, I'd consider the fat-adapted version more. Fruit is also too enjoyable to me for me to cut it out in the long term!

@@timhu69 3+ months of carnivore diet you will get more endurance and explosiveness. But you need to be fat adapted before. The transition sck for it though.

@@timhu69 No you do not need carbs. Muscles uses glycogen. Carbs do not bring any advantages to the process unless you are eating them during exercise and this is something I can't even imagine. After you eat carbs your body is trying to get rid of them because they are toxic. So it stores it as glycogen and if your glycogen storage is full it will be stored as fat. So no matter what is your main source of energy, during exercise you will use glycogen that will be replenished be gluconeogenesis. In your blood you can have only about 4 grams of glucose otherwise you have problem and you are prediabetic or diabetic. I do boxing and I have best explosive power I have in my life. At 45 I'm faster, stronger then I was in my 20. Fact that you still want carbs means you are still addicted to them.

Thank you for a giving it a try and being honest and balanced with your experience, along with keeping good records. I've never been able to do a full 30 days but for me a carnivore diet makes sense. I encourage people to do their own research for their own health and whatever we disagree about when it comes to diet we should at least agree processed food or things out of a package need to be eradicated drastically. When I do carnivore-I notice I'm not obsessed with food as much, my breath seems fresher in the morning (some people in the FB groups claim dental improvements), sleep is not consistent but after the second week I dont wake up as crabby most of all my anxiety and mood is just stable which is worth its weight in gold. I struggle with a heavy carb addiction and just one bite takes me off the path and getting back on the carnivore wagon is so so hard again despite the benefits but I an working on it this year,

I'm on 4th month or so, lost 45 pounds of total weight while gaining a lot of muscle. Feel great. Also my blood sugar went from diabetic levels to under 90!

I LOVE this. We need more open-minded people like you on all sides of this debate. If you were to ever try this again, there are many suggestions I would make! For one, maybe you can put the heat on high and just seal off the liver, leaving the inside raw ("blue"), that's gonna make it taste better! But there are people out there who say that you don't need to eat liver often at all, like Antony Chaffee. You could also reuse the oil from the groundbeef if there isn't anything burnt in it or the oil itself. I also wonder if you didn't get the keto flu because your body never went into ketosis because of fruits, or if you didn't get the symptoms because you ate the right amounts of minerals like magnesium, potassium, etc. I don't remember know if you specify how much fruit you ate, because you specified very well how much meat. Another interesting thing is that people that I know that go keto (and my father that has been carnivore for almost 3 years) end up losing hunger and usually eat once a day, so to hear you saying that you were cleaning the pan twice a day is interesting. I am glad to hear that no one needs to go extreme to start getting benefits! Sure, if you cut out fruit I am convinced that you would've had a much more difficult to endure time, but also might have seen even more differences to your previous diet/s.

To avoid the grease issue you can cook in a ninja xl air fryer. It collects the grease and you can pour it into a container to save it as tallow, you can put it onto your meal, or you can get rid of it and then easily clean the fryer. It cooks faster and more efficiently than a pan on the stove.

I am 61 a little over 3 years ago my A1C was over 13 I began my search looking for a better way to check Blood Sugar Stabbing my Stomach with a needle Every day to Inject Insulin was much less Painful than poking my Finger several times each day. An honest experience, certainily. I really enjoyed the use of the graphs! Also, that ring that checks your sleep? What is it, exactly? On a second note, most Carnivores wouldn't call eating fruit and meat a Carnivore Diet. That's more Ketovore, I think. Like, 90% meat and a bit of plant-based foods added in as well. Generally, from my own understanding, a Carnivore Diet is where you get all your fuel from animals. The transition period from burning sugar for fuel to fat for fuel can take a while, and that's what I'm aiming for now that I'm restarting Carnivre. I tried Carnivore for a few months last year (lost weight, skin issues from an autoimmune disorder cleared up, and I had a lot more energy), and I'm now starting again with the intention of sticking to it. I wish you the best in your journey!

Great that your sticking to this diet....its my first diet ever besides fasting, but that's not a diet and it works. Now, its carnivore which I'm calling it the Tiger Diet plus fasting and I'm dropping a lot of weight. Typical day either chicken wings with eggs, bacon and cheese, or cheese hamburger with eggs an bacon. Eggs are either fried or boiled and I"m stuffed for the entire day with no hunger. I forgot I do the butter thing and I might just take a bit or use a lot in my food preparations for more fat. (I do have steaks and ribs, but I'm going to add sea foo like shrimp and scallops next month).

Great job on trying something new! It’s very brave! The carnivore MD guy changed his diet to include fruit and honey after having some issues after being strict carnivore for a long time. He is now calling it animal-based eating instead of carnivore. So it adds confusion to the label. I honestly think this animal-based way of eating is better than strict carnivore long term for people who do not have health concerns like auto immune conditions. You will unfortunately get comments from militant carnivore people. The reality is that many of them have not done carnivore for prolonged periods. So they may run into the same trouble carnivore MD did. Of course there are some people who tolerate it fine long term. Even they tell you to transition slowly. Thank you for sharing your experiment!

It sounds like you were doing more of a Ketovore diet, Carnivore doesn't include fruits, the sugars from the fruits may be why your skin didn't fully clear up, assuming you were completely carb free or greatly reduced as some vegetables do factor in as "net carbs" outside of the usual no-go complex carbs, potatoes, bread, pasta, rice, grains, seed oils, vegetable oils, etc. The quick weight loss may also be contributed to lost water weight which happens when you cut out all the carbs. You may need more than 30 days and I think it's awesome what you did also you took the time out to record and publicize your results.

My dude, you need to be outside in the sun to get rid of the acne. Either that or buy a redlight panel. I had it much worse than that and there is really no way around it. I'm also doing the carnivore diet but with zero carbs. It's great and I'll never quit. I do bake some veggies along with the meat/fish and at one point I will re-introduce avocado's , a pre gym banana and a balanced "cheat day". Good luck with your journey! 👊

Good job. You don't need to eat liver if you don't like it. You get plenty of nutrients from muscle meat. For cooking mess, run an extension cord and cook outside with an induction stove. Cooking outside is better for you anyway as you get more light instead being indoor so much.

Thank you for sharing. I think 30 days is not enough for a lot of healing to happen (for example, hormones healing so that sleep will be better). The same for veganism damages - many times a year is not enough to experience the damage. I think it is smart that you decided to keep on with the meat. About cleaning fat: 1. You should keep the far and use it again. 2. Hot water is melting the fat in seconds.

I have eaten 3-4 meals a day with at least one pound of meat at each for decades now. Did try once to go vegetarian but after 7 months I had to give up. I like raw liver and have found that by marinating it in lime juice it tastes better. Using cast iron cookware it's an advantage to have all of that fat. Up until 2020 I was eating cheaper than anyone I know and yes- i never eat out. Interesting that you were eating fruit and still having results, I have thought of adding more fruit to my carnivore diet.

Glad to hear that's working out for you. I've heard brining liver in salt water also helps with the taste, but that's a lot of trouble of trouble to go through when I just hold my breath & stuff it down. I'd suggest trying fruit--if it doesn't work out, you can always just take it out again.

I had problems with high cortisol and long periods in ketosis will elevate cortisol..So i break the ketosis with some fruit. Not a lot. Low carb carnivore and it works great. The oxalates and grains are my personal enemy..The reason i developed Fibromyalgia on the vegan diet.

*Meat, eggs & veggies are the best. Without veggies, (zero carbs), I get a very intense, almost edgy focus. A little TOO much! With a tiny amount of good carbs in the morning only, you can easily cut out this negative side effect of the keto diet!!*

3 negatives. I suggest taking liver pills. Use a degreaser dish soap. Fill out your diet with more eggs. Also, for probiotics, eat organic Greek yogurt. I get 10% fat yogurt. I appreciate your video and info

*The body will most likely NEVER catabolise your muscle tissues, as it is a very important organ for metabolism and normal daily function. Never worry about muscle loss, as if it APPEARS as muscle loss, it's, in fact, only the glycogen within the muscles that is being drained by your body!! You must purchase a ketostix kit in order to measure both your fasting glucose levels (must be under 3) and your ketosis level (must be 5 or over)*

First thirty days is not close to long enough. Second, the sugar is the problem and what you should eliminate. Honey is no different than table sugar and carbohydrates such as vegetables break down in the body as sugar as well. Try meat exclusively for ninety days. Grass fed anything isn't necessary.

If you were adding fruits or any other plants, you were not on carnivore but rather the ketogenic diet. You won't get the best healing until you go full carnivore, eating mainly BBB & E.

Dr. Anthony Chaffee, Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Shawn Baker, My Zero Carb Life (Kelly Hogan), Steak and butter Gal, and also Ferrigno Freedom channel... these are all people who have had several years eating the Carnivore lifestyle and have excellent channels... I love Dante Ferrigno even though he is not a Doctor, his transformation is jaw-dropping.

I'm glad you had a good experience but what you did was NOT the carnivore diet. CarnivoreMD works for the liver king for what thats worth. Find Shawn Baker and Anthony Chaffee. They will show you the actual carnivore diet and they don't sell supplements either!

Lol on the raw liver - you got that from CarnivoreMD - Most of us on it for health don't eat organs and I personally think Paul Saladino ate too many organs. I have eaten probably a kilo of liver in 4 years :) and that was just to try it out in the beginning.

It's good to hear that eating liver isn't absolutely necessary--but it is extremely nutritious to the point where I feel I'll miss out on health benefits if I don't include some of it in the diet.

@@alejandromanuelfernandezme4246 There are clips of the arctic explorer, Stefansson who lived with and ate the Inuit diet, he says the organs went to the dogs and I suspect because they were too nutritious but if you enjoy organs then I think that's fine too.

If you went all in carnivore you would have lost more weight. I just started 10 days ago and I'm down 10lb and faster 16 to 24 hours a day without hunger pains. I can breath better, I get up after sleeping and I'm not dragging myself out of bed. I just jump up and I'm fine. I worked out all my life on an off and now I just feel like I"m getting toned up with lifting just 1 set while working out because I don't want to say it was the exercise that lost all the weight, plus you get hunger if you workout to hard. Will save that until I reach my goal weight. I would encourage anyone that is thinking about doing this you should start as soon as you can, you will start seeing results immediately. I would not recommend eating fruits carbs or sugars for the first 30 days to see how well you do. Then if you want you should add it in and see if you still are losing as much weight. Honestly, I would just stay away from it and maybe have it once a week if you need fruits.(remember that sugars stops you from burning fat and your body needs to burn that off first before it will start again. Remember why you're doing it and keep focused until you reach your goa. Just drinking water, with apple cider vinger with mother, and lemon water. Good luck everyone!

@@KK001 No, this only happened on the 2nd day of going ketovore, as I had 20 years of massive carbohydrate consumption. As you know, glycogen holds 4x more water per molecule of glycogen.

You were doing a meat based diet but not carnivore. Try 30 days of the lion diet and then maybe add some fruit back in...in moderation!...not like Saladino, who is not doing anything like a carnivore diet.

Carnivore "downsides" 1. You don't need to eat liver raw 🤦‍♂️ 2. Fat = health/that's what soap is for. 3. Think of how much money you'll be saving by avoiding diabetes 🤷 I hope to God you never go back to veganism, for your own well-being. Even if you choose to continue eating fruit, you're still INFINITELY better off than vegan or S.A.D.

*You still had fruit & honey for carbs, therefore you couldn't have a ketoflu. I lost 4kg in 4 days on high fat meats & whole eggs ONLY!!! Zero carbs whatever, simple or complex.*

Interesting & good that you gave it a go. I would be suspect of CarnivoreMD as he includes quite alot of fruit and this seems excessive. I have not heard of your other source and have been on this diet for 4 years now. Most people going for health cut out all fruit and vegetables. It is only the sports and performance carnivores that seem to keep any carbs and you mentioned you did it for health which seems a bit at odds.

I should also add that maybe have a look at the following people for carnivore: Ken Berry, Sean Baker and Kelly Hogan. There have been a few reports of people (mostly women) doing better with higher fat (tallow/lard) and I recently (early November) started eating stews and I have also been eating the tallow layer on the top and have noticed that I am now starting to see unexpected health benefits for even a surgery from 2005.

The other guy is bigger on TikTok--he mainly advocates for cutting out seed oils and other processed foods with an emphasis on eating lots of red meat rather than being a full on carnivore enthusiast. I do keep carbs in the diet for sports and performance--I just enjoy fruit as well!

This guy was literally vegan. Obviously it makes more sense for him to do a more gradual transition anyway. You guys sound super militant. Everything he did is on the better end of eating well. All the things he cut out obviously improved his health. I just get so annoyed when I see these types of comments on exploratory videos because all they do is discourage people.

It's my day 88 on carnivore (without fruit and honey). I'm not impressed to be honest. All the benefits are marginal. I haven't been successful in getting shredded, that's what I wanted.

Don't get me wrong, I'm addicted to sugar too, but it's not healthy and there's not really any reason to eat that stuff besides that it tastes good 🤷 fruitivoreMD is majorly sus, and I'm predicting that he will start introducing more BS. Imagine how much better you would feel and how much healthier you would be if you cut out the extra junk food, and don't kid yourself, fruit and honey should be considered junk food, it's just natural junk food. I absolutely LOVE honey, it's great for many things, especially making fermented honey-garlic, it's delicious and super healthful. But it's still sugar.

I eat animal based but the amount of people giving him flake for incorporating a minimal fruit and honey aspect is nuts. Honey is fantastic for your gut, allergies, immune system and yes, God forbid, a little boost before or after a lift. Not the end of the world dude.

Carnivore diet does not include fruit, carbs or honey. If you want to eat those things its up to you, but to claim that you attempted carnivore would not be correct. Seems like mostly an omnivore diet and adding fruits and carbs doesn't allow fat adaptation to occur. Maybe someday you will go the whole way to really see how carnivore (meat, fat, salt and butter only) can feel. Most people do carnivore diet completely wrong for the first 30 days, so 90 days is recommended as the first month is spent figuring out how not to do it. Anyways good luck on how you would like to eat.

This was not a great example of a carnivore diet 🙄... you 100% do not have to eat liver cooked or raw. You should have definitely not had sugar and honey, either. If I were you, I'd try it again. Beef butter bacon and eggs 90 day challenge. And for gods sake, stop eating fruit and honey! Don't do it for me do it for your goals of clearer skin and better clarity/energy. If that isn't reason enough, stop because of the chronic activation of the Randal cycle.

Again because of the fruits, and what type of fruits that you ate with you only allowed strawberries well anything berry any kind of more fruit would knock you out of even being keto again you weren’t in ketosis, and you will know when you’re not steak because your breath will smell like acetone and as far as I go, I can even smell in my skin when I’m in ketosis again you need to do a real carnivore diet to get the full effect, and the only thing you’re allowed is protein and fat try that for 30 days and see have a cure see you you’re right about most people and what they eat I was that I am doing keto and carnivore for my health. I’m a type two diabetic before I started keto I was at a 13 A1c, and after two months of keto, I went down to a six A1c again you have to switch over from burning carbs to burning fat once your body does that then you’ll be in ketosis

It could be ocean, mussels, and clams, fish, lamb, beef, pork, you never have honey, and you never have fruit and you never have vegetables on the carnivore diet though you should’ve had some good outcome by even being on that type of diet but again you’re a vegan, so who knows
