I've been waiting so long to find a teacher to help take me further in my Tajweed & Qiraat. None in my town. You gave me tears. MaashaaAllah. The highest levels of jannah for you brother... Thank you so much.
+MrIzzy4real Jazakumullah khair for your kind comments and duas - I wish the same for you my brother :) Please keep me in your duas as there's lots more to do with this project
This is the first time I tried this . The explanation and demonstration was easy to understand. Im 14. I would automatically teach this amazing method to my brothers who also recite the Holy Quran with me . My stepbrother Hassan is a very good reciter. I think now he is 21. I would teach him what I learned and tell him where I learned the method. The other brothers will do also and realize just by watching this video their voices to recite the Holy Quran will become more beautiful. I would watch this video over and over again. The others too. I will practice everyday and see how things turn out. Thank you brother may Allah bless you and I won't forget you in my duas.
Never have I ever commented on a RU-vid video before but jazakallahu khair so much ur tips have amazed me and It has helped me out so much may Allah bless u amongst the best of huffaz and qurrah on the day of qiyyamah...ameen
another tip I'll share: holding your breath for long isn't a goal of recitation in and of itself ... having good breath control is meant to support good vocal tone and also allow you to get through longer ayahs especially when reciting in the mujawwad style ... but take a break when you need to, and always follow the rules of waqf (stopping) ... stop when it is appropriate and don't just string together ayahs for the sake of holding your breath :)
MashaAllah excellent explanation...Although I’ve been trying since childhood to learn Qirat but never succeeded in taking long breath but now with out even watching this full video I tried out with my understanding and Alhamdulillah succeeded. JazakAllahu khaira
ReciteinTune I have been gymnast and I have deep breath but i could not use all my capacity untill I watched this video, I'm now avilable to recite like 3 times longer as I was avilable before I'm so happy :D
inshaAllah hope in the future to upload some videos demonstrating this ... for many ppl this might be a bit advanced, which is why for now I like to do videos on each maqam separately. We teach this to our more advanced students once they have a good grasp of each maqam separately
Jazakallahu khairan katheera.. I saw this video and tried this breathing technique and alhamdulillah i was able to recite without any breathlessness and was able to properly recite the aleef madda..
Masha Allah, this stuff is good however when you breathe your stomach should not move forward. Your stomach should be totally relaxed and you have to train yourself to breathe into your lower back. Your lower back should expand. This utilises the diaphragm properly. I studied vocal technique with a few teachers from university's. A good way of training the lower back to expand when you breathe while relaxing the stomach is to press the stomach with something whilst breathing, you'll feel that naturally your lower back expands.
Amazing, mashAllah. Not being able to lenthen by breath is/was my achillies heel, but that will change now bi'izdnillah. Allahu baarak feeka wa hayaakAllah
jazakumullah khair for your kind feedback and duas. may Allah bless you in your recitation ... inshaAllah in the future we'll cover more tips/techniques regarding breathing etc, so keep in touch with ReciteinTune :)
Glad to have you here. Sometimes I'm embarrassed by the quality of this video lol but I didn't have an iPhone ten yrs ago. I'm happy to see that ppl are still benefiting from this video
Jazaakumullah khayr brother, I've tried to give this advice to my students also when I was teaching Hifz at a Madrasah last year, but only a few of my students got the point LoL. May Allah SWT make it easy for all the aspiring huffaz and qurra to learn Hifz, Tajweed, and Qira'at, Ameen.
wa iyyakum, glad to be of help! pls keep ReciteinTune in your duas so we can continue these efforts :) also be sure to check out our course if you're looking for further training
I was thought this method by a singer and it really helped me and its nice to see it here what the brother is saying is correct if you take wrong breath you'll not only sound bad but also won't have good control of completing your breath.
Jazak Allahu khair..am memorising alhamdulillah..soon yo complete but i didn't master this😌.. Jazak Allahu khair this video has realu helped me🤲🤲 It's 2023😊
I don't know exactly what you mean but I have a sense that you mean you can't go up and down in pitch while holding the ghunna sound? If that's what you mean, then one thing you can try is to practice exactly that ... hold the ghunna sound and then practice moving your voice up and down in pitch. It's hard for me to explain this in text .. perhaps a new video tutorial is in order .... but this is the type of things we cover in our Overnight Qari course, in case you're interested :)
Alhamdulillah! I think nervousness promotes shallow breathing too. I've noticed this when I have to recite in front of others. Thank you brother. I have learned something. Jazak Allahu khair.
you're welcome! yes, definitely when you're nervous it will make your breathe shallow and quickly. The interesting thing is that if you focus on controlling your breathing, you can actually calm yourself down. Not just when reciting, but as a general thing.
ReciteinTune Asalau alayum waraatullahi wabarakaatuh, I am 15 and would like to learn the skills of reciting properly, i would like to recite beautifully at the beginning of talks and that inshAllah are there any free courses available? jzk
Sheikh Sudais really could use this. He needs this breathing exercise more than any other Iman or qari I know. The Sheikh's beautiful voice is still there but struggles and battles with extremely short breathes. It has gotten so bad in recent years that he can barely finish a short ayah without pausing multiple times. You'd see him literally grasping for air mid a very short verse. May Allah protect him and grant him janatul firdaus..amin.
This concept is similar with the Breath-Exercises you do mainly in Qigong, which is a art cultivating the ownself with the universal energy called chi.
