Idaho murders: Controversy surrounds survey of potential jurors

Defense attorneys for Bryan Kohberger argue that a recent survey they ordered of local residents shows that he cannot get a fair trial and there needs to be a change in venue. Prosecutors objected to the survey, arguing it violated a gag order in the case and that it included questions that contain false information. NBC’s Kaylee Hartung reports and Danny Cevallos joins TODAY with legal analysis.

Actually for a small town crime they took all the right steps and put their pride away (unlike the john bennet murder) and allowed the fbi to come in immediately. Great job to the entire investigation team from a true crime addict lol.

This case was botched from the beginning. They were sending in a cleaning crew and they didn’t have all of the evidence. There were things left undone and they tore the house down. If he didn’t do it, who ever did is living there best life right now. And has likely killed again.

I'm amazed that the prosecutor is saying it's false that Bryan stalked one of the victims! How does he KNOW that!? That's the shocking part that I don't hear anyone talking about. And he ended up making Bryan look better in the process. Interesting 🤔.

They definitely tainted the very small juror pool that could have been made - by calling each one up and telling them the facts of the case which all directly show he is guilty. Defence through premature incrimination.

Priceless win for the defence team and Ann Taylor! congrats 👏! The survey managed by them caused Mr. Thompson to make a confession of the lie information about Bryan stalking one one of the girls which has been circulated the whole time till now! This confession is priceless! How else in the world it could be done at this point of the case. It should be counted as a big win for defence team. Of course, Mr. Thompson didn't say it for positive reason but he said that out of anger he couldn't manage. He tried to ruin Mr. Adelman but in fact he did the biggest to benefit of the defence team and the defendant!

He 💯 percent innocent till Proven Guilty. Let evidence be facts of the case. Not heard say words. Everyone deserves a fair trail! His Attorney did Nail the Bias in the case. The man on the stand explained it well. Provide Good evidence in this case.

@@lindarobinson8827 100% innocent? That's why he's been in jail since a month after it happened? There's enough circumstantial evidence to lock this dude up for 4 lifetimes. But like OJ, he'll prob walk if he ever finds an end to this. Some of the strongest circumstantial (and coincidental) evidence I've seen to date in my lifetime to point the finger at this dude, but not enough to definitively say it was him that did it, that he was there that night, etc.... That's what might save his bacon. If they had hard evidence, they'd have had the trial by now.
