1:59 We can actually put people in Cryosleep. And since they're frozen, they're basically on pause, technically still alive. In fact, there are around 300 people in the US who are in Cryosleep like this. However, we don't yet have a way to unfreeze people without the person dying and there's no guarantee that there will ever be one. Maybe it's possible, maybe not. So who knows wether those people will ever wake up or not. Anyways, this is basically portraying a future where we figured out how to unfreeze people and this technology is basically used to pause people's lives during transportation to avoid aging.

Cryo is based on real theories, like in nature frogs can just "freeze" themselves over the winter till spring. For a sci-fi movie it could show how humans can travel years (or decades) through space without aging before arriving on the planet.
