Still makes sense considering that other worlds would be razed for less. Being the nature born politician like Gulliman, he'd understand well the consequences of making too many exception. Gulliman still had to punish them or other would think he's biased and giving them a more lenient punishment and that's already as generous as it can get.

i don't think thats cannon anymore, the cover of solar war has cadian looking guardsmen on it and the Imperial cults and miltia book makes it clear there is no imperial army uniform.

@@matthiuskoenig3378 No, it can still be cannon with the explanation that the idea of a standardized uniform fell out of fashion as the crusade spread further out into the galaxy. Certainly this is true in the 42nd millennium where almost no 2 Guard Regiments look alike.

A video on Adept Cortswain would be fantastic. As far as I can remember he first appeared in the 3rd Edition in White Dwarf first before being in the Necron's Codex, where he was studying a Necron's remains. From there it's a bit blurry...

I find it funny that people are like family lowers discipline. Well maybe your M2 family. But just go back to the mind set of 200 years ago and distant family members will heavily keep discipline up not freaking out because cousins die, but rather feeling a whipping of the lad is in order for shaming the family.

BROTHER!!! it goes well. It's a lot easier to manage since it's not white. White is such a pain, and if you accidentally get paint from another part on it, you have to re build SO much. It's also a more intimidating scheme. I love it. Hope you are well friend!!!

ItalianSpartacus Doing great, thanks! I hate painting white, as well- if I have a model with any more than 10% white stuff, I just prime the whole thing white, and leave it at that. The rest of the time, I prime them black. I don’t know why white paint is such a pain in the ass, but that and yellow always seem to get clumpy and look like shit. I’m just happy that my army is all black- see you in the next video!

The closest thing they have to an Asian themed loyalist is the white scars space marine legion. But they are loosely based upon the ancient mongolians in terms of tactics and appearance.

They look more like Prussians then Slavic/Russian. Especially the skull on the helmet which only the Prussian hussars had. August von Mackensen you can google if you want to see how they looked.

dIRECT0R I see it like this, the Vostroyan are imperial Russian, the Valhallan are Soviet Russian, they also have a severe lack of skies to be Finns

@Lewis Sparks Valhallans are Eastern Front winter soldiers heavily inspired from the Soviets and possibly Germany's allies. Same general weather and close proximity to each other would've undoubtedly influenced some design aspects. While Vostroyans are modeled after Cossacks and Streltsy during the 16th-18th centuries.
