Another video proudly brought to you by www.gilbertguide.com. This series of exercises can be done while in bed or bedridden to increase upper and lower body strength and build muscles useful for everyday tasks.
I'm not bedridden but I'm so shamefully out of shape and sedentary. I'm going to use this as a starter until I can get a little bit stronger. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this video online. It is so important to know that you can still exercise even if you are too tired to get out of bed. I do this in the morning when I wake up to maintain range of motion and will share it with geriatric patients who I take care of.
Love this video, I'm in bed a lot and these easy excises are something I can manage I have serious health issues and and limited in movement, so this is great information for me as even through I'm only early 50,'s I'm trying to build up strength and muscle I have lost.
Thanks so much for these exercises. I'm a bedridden post stroke patiw and while some of these I still can't do. A modified version of them at best help me to feel a little better. I was told movement is key post stroke. These are good guides to follow.
I'm glad I found you; your voice is soothing yet encouraging to do what you can to help yourself. Would like to see exercises to reverse overpronation of lower extremity & ìf any rehab equipment can assist to overcome this ...🙃
I have been sick and mostly bedden or in a wheelchair for many years. I can walk with a walker but I am determined to walk on my own one day. My body is like Jello now and I need to build up muscles in my legs and butt. You can imagine. Do you have some exercises I can do in bed for my hips, thighs and knees? I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
this is the 3rd day ive been bed ridden! looking on the brightside i havnt eaten anything for 3 days so i might squeeze into my favourite pair of jeans by the weekend 😰😰😰
Really out of shape after moving from a house with many stairs to a small one floor. And the constant Change In meds. I’m not certain about the “bedpan” exercise as I’ve had cervical spinal disc fusion. Overall these are an easy AM regimen and there’s no reason to not do them. I was curious, when doing arm exercises should you tighten the abs?
Well, i think it IS a good type of fatigue that i feel now. I will see in a week or two if i can increment. First i will start my observations on how i feel with only one rep and the pausing. I feel it might motivate me to insert a small meditation time ! that feels like a good start. Thanks.
A virtual walk along the beach makes the perfect backdrop to these exercises, bringing peace and relaxation too, especially if you are unable to get outside right now. Walk along the beach here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7lNI_TZRZoQ.html
