You mean plandemic. But I hear ya, My son was fortunate that I built an awesome garage gym about two years before the bullshit Covid scam. I had to tell him only two of his friends could come over, couldn't risk getting sued by someone with the common cold/flu. lol.

One time I dropped the bar on myself and had no one to pick it up for me, so I literally just sat there with the bar on my chest until I regained my strength to lift it back up and rack it 😂🤦🏽‍♂️

I remember when I couldnt bench press 350lbs for 6th rep I had to roll the bar on my abdomen then take a sit and take it off. Regaining strength under 350lbs bar is a mission impossible

I followed this technique since this video release and my 1rm is higher now. I was hitting 225 about 6-7 reps and 1rm was 295. now I'm doing 225 about 12 reps easy and my 1rm is 335lb no spot. All I want is 405 and then I'm chillin. Mike always bringing the good info

No excuses here! Great video. I am training for strength and a bit more mass. I'm currently 190lbs 6'2". Trying to get to 200lbs for the first time in my life. never was big on weights, basing my training on mostly calisthenics. After watching this I realized my bench form was very bad. But now I will apply your teachings to my regimen. Thanks for the blessings. Easy money! Let's get it!

@@baileysage2826 just keep benching. Get stronger. By the time you're lifting big weight your chest will have grown. You'll also learn a shit ton about yourself along the way. But if you want to feel your chest more try this for fun: partial 3/4 reps. Touch the bar to your chest and don't go higher than 3/4 of the way. Do a max Rep set. Have fun!

Love this bro! I always go no clamps when I am by myself just in case I drop the weight like you mentioned (I have dropped 315lb on myself before and thankfully no clamps so I could just roll and let them fall). I train by myself 90% of the time so all those techniques I have figured out on my own but awesome to get some validation on what I have been doing. Can't wait to get back in a gym and start lifting heavy again. I am on that Alpha Shred and Private Online Training game though!

This is great, this what I’m doing and I’m getting stronger every week in a half to two weeks, i discovered it on my own, I never heard of any one else doing it until this video today May 8, 2020 I’m 66 years old and have been lifting weights since 1974 and just discovered this technique last year, I work out better by my self and I stop using clamps on the bench press years ago, do to the same reason you stated.

Great video! When you said go up in small increments(5 lbs, 10 lbs, etc.) that really helps and just lift that until you start throwing it and then move up. That's one of the best tips alot of people overlook. Also work your triceps and back that helps too.

Thanks Mike Rashid, to clamp or not...good tips...the way you explode on the lift...I imagine it is better to clamp, because the weights are going to move some.

Great video... as usual. How would you work around a shoulder injury while trying to increase the bench? It’s not rotator and doesn’t require surgery, but after years and years of working and other activities working out always leaves that one shoulder painfully sore, but functional. Thanks

Here in Sweden all gyms are open, and just a few of them closed for a few weeks due to the covid-1984, they start to open up more and more places now (little by little) around Europe so that´s nice to see...
