Hi guys! In today’s workout we are using just our body weight to increase our explosive speed. For the exercises using the box, use a step, bench or low wall if you don’t have a box. I would recommend starting at 3 rounds of the circuit I showed in the video, resting for 30 seconds between each exercise, and 3-5 minutes between each circuit. For optimal results, repeat this workout twice per week with a couple of days between each one. Either add extra rounds of the circuit, or increase the repetitions to progress the workout each time you complete it. Below are the exercises: Lateral bounds: 4-5 in each direction Diagonal bounds: 4-5 in each direction Single leg hops: 3-4 each leg Broad jumps: 2-3 each direction Negative broad jumps: 5 reps Negative SL broad jumps: 5 each leg Box jumps: 5 reps SL box jumps: 5 each leg Split squat knee drive: 5 each leg Depth jumps: 5 reps Depth jump broad jumps: 5 reps Step up knee drive: 5 each leg

@7mlc Hey! What’s the difference between explosive speed vs “normal” speed?(what is explosive speed) Is a recovery session something that should be done daily or only on off days? If daily what might a recovery session between an off day and work day looks like, if there’s any difference?

If you are too fat or too big reduce your weight a little amd your body fat percentage. When i did that and combined it with leg exercises and core I noticed my pace improved

Jumping like exercises 7 and 8 on top of a bed or sofa is a recipe for disaster... both for yourself and the surface. Other than that, very good exercises to develop explosiveness!
