I'm glad you got around to one of their non-"Angelic" songs (for lack of a better term). I'd recommend "Radioactive" featuring Lindsey Sterling on Violin. Kevin plays the Cello and beatboxes at the same time because he's a badass. After that, do Daft Punk, which will blow you away like this one did. Oh and don't forget Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy! Yeah, these guys are unbelievable. Ridiculous. Riveting. A pleasure to watch. All of those adjectives (and more) were uttered by the judges on the Sing Off when Pentatonix was formed.

You need to check out their “Daft Punk” medley, and their original “Love Again.” Kevin absolutely nails the techno club beat in Love Again. Also, “Can’t Hold Us” is another style which will blow your mind even further! Loving your reactions :-)

this is one of the things I love about PTX: they are literally vocal chameleons. they can do anything and I do mean anything. as others have suggested, I think a Daft Punk reaction is in order for you, as well as their Can't Hold Us and New Rules x Are You That Somebody covers for more upbeat selections.

This is their latest studio release from earlier this year. This is just a fun groove from beginning to end! It wouldn't be Believe without the autotune...they didn't call it "The Cher Effect" for nothing! They've actually done more upbeat songs in their career than slow songs. There's a LOT more of them to check out. You should check out the live performance they did earlier this month on the Capitol 4th of July TV Special of Seasons Of Love from the musical Rent. It may be the best thing Kirstie has ever done...totally mesmerizing!

Interesting that you haven't run across their up-tempo pop, EDM, rap and assorted other genres before now. You have SO much yet to enjoy! I highly recommend their Daft Punk medley if you want to watch them go completely techno/synth with only their voices (and Kevin's genius, of course). It's brilliant, and won them their first Grammy. I'm 42 and this just takes me back to my youth! Great reaction! I find it amazing how global songs can get. That hits in America can be hits here in a small place like the Isle of Man etc. Pentatonix can literally do any genre. To be shocked by what else they can do and how different I'd recommend Can't Hold Us, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (an instrumental piece done with a group with no instruments!) or their original Love Again.

This was so fun and it’s all the music I grew up with. I love Pentatonix so much they are so talented and such kind sweetest people, Mitch is my favourite his voice is just so beautiful and incredible. It’s his birthday today. I love when I find new British reactors reacting to Pentatonix, I’m British too when I became a Pentaholic (Pentatonix fan) not many British people knew who they were, I am now seeing a lot of British reactors finding them and loving them which is great to see

As weird as it sounds, I feel almost maternal about PTX. I'm aways so proud of them when I see them blow everyone's minds.😍

It's amazing how they blend one into the next. I don't know a lot about 90's music except what my kids listened to when they were still living at home. LOL I am more of a 50's 60's 70's some 80's and some country music and dance. And I honestly miss DISCO! LOL I love Cher and so happy got to see her live not too long ago, also Neil Diamond I grew up with his music, saw him live also. Their thing on The Sing Off is that they covered Top 40 and Club songs so I felt that this song really got them back to their roots. Their early stuff is more like this, fun upbeat and lots of effects with their voices to give that dance vibe.

For more examples of just how versatile they are, I can recommend checking out their covers of Macklemore's 'Can't Hold Us' (yes, they can also rap like bosses!) and 'Radioactive' with Lindsey Stirling on violin and Kevin beatboxing while playing his cello, and some of their originals like 'Love Again,' (if you thought their Daft Punk Medley was crazy creative, this will blow your mind!) and one of their newer ones 'Coffee In Bed.'

Mitch is not singing in a “girl’s” voice - he is a counter tenor so - they sing close to soprano at times. Kirstin is a Mezzo Soprano. Scott is a baritone but can sing in both higher an lower registers.

Haha noooooo Look back at my reaction..... Sometimes I name the song or artist, on a couple I knew both, I also went to a lot of clubs in the 90's which is why I said that I'll probably know a lot of these at the very beginning. When I said I wasn't into dance music i meant, I didn't play it in my car or in my house, I was listening to indie / oasis type music for enjoyment 😁 hope that clears this up. Hey, I con't recommend some great Kirstie lead songs: "Rather Be," recorded in 2015 whilst in Japan on tour, and their latest release, "Seasons of Love," recorded for inclusion in the Fourth of July celebration on our Public Broadcasting System stations. Both just fabulous! Then there's "Cheerleader," which they make so much better than the original, of course, and some fun originals, "Space," "Sing," "Be My Eyes," and "Happy Now." ALL UP BEAT, and so much fun!

Definitely need Daft Punk. But also their versions of Macklemore! They do Thrift Shop with no production or fancy video to go with. Also…. You should probably check out Home Free’s version of End of the Road and Voice Play’s version of Tennessee Whiskey. Both Avi Kaplan and Geoff Castalucci (bass from Voice Play) are terrific soloists. Check out Avi’s Change on the Rise and Geoff’s Sixteen Tons. Let me know what you think about those. 🥰

@@infin8reactions Which isn't actually true. PTX was originally just Scott, Mitch, and Kirstie, then Kevin and Avi joined them later, then later than that Avi left them and Matt joined them. So since Avi, Matt and Kevin weren't originals by your logic they are all the "new" singers. And by that logic Chester Bennington is the new singer for Stone Temple Pilots. And David Gilmour is the new singer for Pink Floyd. And Steve Perry is the new singer for Journey. And every member of Home free other than adam rupp are the new members. And since there have been reactions on youtube since 2008 you will always be the new reactor even when I've been subscribed to you for 10 years.
