Totally agree, Lito. And loved happening to run across you weighing in with an "Indy opinion" just like in the old days on the IndyCast. Hope you and yours are doing well!
@robertmagee1659 Awwwww. Hi, Rob!! It's been a long time. I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to listen to the Cast in a while. Hoping to catch up when I fly cross country in May!! Sending you and yours my absolute best! I'M SO EXCITED FOR INDY V!!!
@@HollywoodLito I know what you mean. Don't get to listen as much as I'd like these days, either. But I couldn't be more excited for the new movie! So good to connect with you, my friend. Best wishes to you as well!
Its not that I dont like the original trailer but for me it didn't match the vibe of an indiana jones trailer. Even Crystal Skulls trailer was pretty good
I'm not normally a fan of pop-music in trailers when there's a decent enough score they can use... but the Sympathy for the Devil mash-up in the recent trailer genuinely blew me away! Still understand why you'd want this though.
i actually haven't seen this specific trailer yet, so watching it without the cliché and overdramatic hollywood BS music actually looks/sounds so good. it makes me want to watch the movie. i guess it really does go to show how much the john williams score can change the trailer, not that it means much as somebody who hasn't watched the original.
Now that's a better trailer. This should've have this well made trailer and putting John Williams' last Indy score that could've been hyped for this movie. Screw Disney and Lucasfilm for not releasing of what we see so this one just became hyped. Good trailer man.
Great job the start is much better than the start to the new official trailer. The middle could of done some work in the pacing and the was top! Steller work!
Awesome job! I haven't been able to stop watching this after seeing it in the theater. You did a fantastic job. Every time I watch this, I feel like I want to start crying tears of joys because of how nostalgic it is. It also puts a smile on my face hearing the classic theme. Also love that shotgun sound. Did you add that in too?
Very nice work. From my own experience of reediting trailers to make them fit with the old school films: Never ever has the film turned out to be good/meet my(!) expectations. Because they just don't make them like that anymore. Hate to say it but: It's over. :( It just blows my mind how you use Rolling Stones when you have a theme such as the Raider's March.
Esta musica es mucho mejor que la musica del ultimo trailer, aprende disney. This music is much better than the music from the last trailer, learn disney
As much as I hated Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the film trailer for it was so dang good. Made me want to race to the theater. Everything they are doing with this new film is a dud. It's like no one in the marketing department knows what they are doing. I'm almost certain that the movie will be garbage, but at least make the trailer make me want to see the film. With this added John Williams score in the trailer, that's what I am talking about. That is exactly what should have been done the first time. Now starting out with that dumb Rolling Stones song. Barf!
@@lightlyfriedfishfillets829 Pond5 is my go-to place for SFX. Here's my take on the trailer: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WXBceGBEBhU.html
needs better sound design, but yeah music sounds good cut together. a good trailer is only as good as it sounds together with sound design, not just music. but good job
This is honestly really good, but I don’t think it will really fit the movie. This movie seems to have a lot of cgi (just like 4 had) and this trailer would fit better with a more practical movie. Still a very good edit though!
sick of these BS CGI films. they ruin the integrity and cheapen period pieces. wish they filmed this like the original trilogy. those movies had a more cinematic authentic feel
Yea. Remember when they filmed the truck chase with NO CGI? (Raiders)It felt so authentic. Unfortunately for Harrison at his age if he went under a truck like that again he would probably disintegrate
