Good to see someone who knows what they're doing👍 we got a Toyota van got refurb injectors and glow plugs put in by the diesel mechanic came back worse, Never Be quite the Same. At the time I doing 70 hours a week don't really have time to do the job ,I trust in the mechanics and they just say that's how it's meant to run. Came back more smoke at startup harder to start you've probably seen it all before

super well done repair job. I am a yank retired doctor and I also have long done surgery on my MB and Cummins diesels and I enjoyed your humor, Takes me back to my OR days! What brand injectors and glow plugs do you use?? Can I order from Australia? From your supplier? I am getting a mid 90's prado and thank you in advance for your help.It does look a bit harder than working on MB 617 and Cummins 12 valve cars which are pretty easy.

All good and well and pretty straight forward ffor anyone with a fair bit of mechanical knowledge, but recoding new injectors to the ECU is done how may i ask if you dont own the correct scan tool , ? Bet i dont get an answer
I’ve got a 1993 HiAce with this engine. I’m looking for a washer set for the injectors as I’ve found that the previous owner installed replacement injectors without the washers. I’ve noticed that the injectors for cylinder 1 and 3 have different sized nozzles from those for cylinder 2 and 4. The kits I’ve found online are all one size and I’m not sure if they’d fit. Do you know if this is normal for the year or do I have the incorrect part? Thank you for your time and I apologize if it’s a confusion line of questions. Thanks

Gday mate currently doing this job on my 1kz te 2003 toyota prado. Its currently got no power. You hit a hill and it drops to 70 - 80ks from 100kph. Iv replaced the fuel filter, map sensor, map filter. Injectors. Timing belt. Air filter. Its got an older steinbauer chip. 3" exhaust. Hook a trailer on and you might aswell get out and push it. It seems that under any sort of load it loses power. Any help would be appreciated cheers

If they haven’t been changed they won’t be working right if it blows smoke if it uses Fuel if it runs a bit rough maybe chances are it would seem to run OK but once you get new ones it might run a lot better I said gnu not remanufactured
These r already powerful engines but I wish these engines were DI(direct injection) for more torque n acceleration, Specially that year n model engines. I knw newer models are crdi turbos.
IM ASSUMING THE HIGH PRESSURE PUMP PUSHES THE AIR INTO THE RETURN LINE DURING THAT LONG CRANK. IVE SEARCHED ALL HIS VIDEOS HE DOESNT EVEN MENTION BLEEDING LOL
