thanks, brother, i checked this camera already for 4G FUNTION, it works very good. i changed sd mode to HD mode ,the image is better. it has no motion tracking which any guys looking this function, to save the battery for more longer standby. i know it is solar battery powered camera, its not powered by power supply, so no auto tracking ,no motion detect ect nomal fuction. it will waked by Human and animals with PIR sensor under 5 meters, not motion detect in my yard. it will sleep without any human and animals in the area. 4MP looks has more funciton and better image.
The pir works good. Mine is about 20 feet up and it catches people walking up and down the street. For someone that needs the solar option it is good. Batteries have not run out on it.
Well lets see if this super wizzbang security camera lives up to the hype lol. I'm glad that you give only the minimal information to any company, i would not trust them as far as i could throw them. Your cat is loverly, vocal little sole :-D
You need to open the battery up and remove the paper insulators that keep the cells disconnected. I just plugged the solar panel in and stuck it outside. It took a day or so to get to 100% as it was winter when i put it up and not alot of sun around but now it stays at 100%
Getting ready to hook this baby up……I’m not a tech head so wish me luck …. ? Can you delete the videos from your app… and can you save the videos to your iPhone tablet or computer … I Gotta say is a great video thank you for putting the time and I hope I can get this shit working … God bless
Yes you can copy the videos to your phone or tablet. The oldest delete once the card is full. You can for example if you have reviewed the footage wipe the card completely and start over from your phone. I just leave mine recording and when the card gets full it erases the oldest recordings automatically. Once in awhile I'll just format the card so it starts over fresh.
Well the first thing that gets done is is setting a new login and password. Besides the fact that this and all the cameras for that matter sit on their own dedicated router which has a totally different IP than the rest of the network. So even if someone did hack in they could just watch the cars going up and down the street and people walking their dog.
So bought this camera and figured it would be good quality for $216.00 price tag ( Canada). Installed it and worked with it for a couple of days and gotta say it's a piece of junk. Records when it shouldn't, and ignores the time length I put it. Set it for 15 seconds and it will record no motion for 5 minutes. Stand in front of the camera and it ignores you. No tracking function which I really wanted. No motion lights which I also wanted. Tried to do a firmware update a few times to see if that what straighten it out. Firmware downloads to 10% and stays there for hours. Wont go past 10%. I'm tempted to take it down but after drilling 6 holes in my bricks I don't know what would look worse. A crappy camera or empty holes. Guess you really got to spend the big bucks to get anything that is better quality.
I have had a few glitches over the 5 months or so I have had it. The first was it wouldn't play nice with one of my routers but worked with a second one and an ongoing problem has been disappearing recordings on the SD card. They are there I just can't access them even through they are all recording. I check later and they are there. I will say that the only wireless solar cameras i have that actually work as they should every time are 6he reolink cameras i have. They work excellent and have been up all winter and even on the darkest of days the battery never ran flat. This one has been recording fine where it is installed but the glitches are annoying and even though the manufacture said the update would fix it still has this intermittent glitch.
@@kerrylittle3900 the cameras that have been flawless for me the nooie and reolink. The nooie records constantly and the reolink has good motion detection.
@@12voltvids Thanks. I'm thinking of sending this one back since it is pretty much useless. Motion wont wake it up even if you stand in front of it. Then when there is no reason to record it will. Just a messed up camera. Only I have no available power supply where I want to mount it so need a good wireless camera.
It was. That is how the camera formats it. 32g also went offline. Something isn't right. That's 3 cameras i have put up where the recording doesn't work. The nooie and reolink work flawlessly as does the icon indoor cam.
So, not too impressed then Dave. I’ve got fixed ones like yours Lorex , but I fancied a pan/tilt but I’ve no spare channels. If that had worked, I’d have got one!
Someone can help me please, I need to install a camera on a remote location (No Wifi) its posible connect this camera to 4G or even go through get the memory Card and see in my computer when I need it....... Or what other camera you recommend me?? thanks for answer
