Eight sleep is the best, been a client for over 3 years, just upgraded to the 3, love it, if you are a hot sleeper this makes the bed so comfortably cool

I bought an 8 sleep mattress cover over a year and a half ago and I love it and no question it is worth the investment. Through perimenopause I did all the things to help my sleep. I was making progress but once I was post menopausal I just ran hotter at night. That’s when I invested in 8 sleep and no regrets!

Looking forward to hearing if you can’t purchase the almost $3,000 mattress cover, what can us “normal” working people can do. I can’t afford this product.

All the products in the world won't work if we are born with a defect. Melatonin is very cheap. It helps us get at least a few hours of deep sleep. The max I've ever gotten since childhood is 4 hrs and that's only if I avoid certain foods that stimulate the brain. ie: caffeine, spices, not eating a heavy meal close to bed time. L-Theanine is also cheap & helps us to get a few hours, without side effects. According to The Elimination diet, it takes 14 days for offending foods to leave the body. If you cheat once, you have to start counting all over again. It's only in the 3rd week that you will notice a improvement in sleep. In my case, since I had no relatives here in Canada, a few decades ago, when some did come to Canada, I was able to learn that many in my fathers family did suffer from poor sleep since birth. Now my children also suffer. Conclusion - We're born with some sort of genetic defect. So don't feel that you need to spend mega bucks on the latest technology, as it will never "cure" the problem of a genetic defect.

There’s not much content these days that isn’t going to eventually try and sell you something. If you want sleep tips just search youtube using the before:2016 modifier in your searches. Videos were very different several years ago, albeit lower production quality but pretty informative and chill.

I would rather save and invest $2500 in my sleep and health than in other stupid expensive things like clothes excessive food or $1500 iphone

@@dreamcar1845Why are you assuming that this person is wasting their money on excessive food, clothing and phones? Many ppl use their money wisely, but buying a $3000 bed will still put them in debt …

When I went thru menopause I moved the bed in front of the window, left it open 24/7 at 6" (you can put a lock to not raise more) for several years even with 38-45 degree winters. Hubby had blankets over his head & I had none. Believe me - 60 degrees is nothing for hot flashes!

I'm glad I sleep on my own, because my room must be at least 18 degrees Celsius for me to remain sleeping, any lower and I need to wear socks to keep warm but I sleep until a noise or light wakes me.😊

If you need this much help to sleep you are just simply deficient in nutrients. Proper nutrition and good sleep habits are all you need to sleep well. I struggled myself a bit when I started keto which made me wonder if a healthy diet means you just don't sleep a solid 8 hours anymore because you are getting better quality sleep in a shorter period of time. I made some adjustments and played around with food consumption and finally dialed it in, I still may wake up a couple of times per night but I go right back to sleep every time without any help of any devices. People should be aware, these devices could end up having side effects over time.

I believe that the menopause is a great contributor to insomnia. We need more, good quality studies in this area. If nutrition is the one thing that helps then we are onto a winner, but I think there is more to it than that.
@shawnlewis1918

@@annetteheath4694 Keep it simple...nutrition in addition to proper balance of that nutrition is EVERYTHING! The ONLY reason so many people are having trouble sleeping is due to the majority of the population poisoning themselves with high carbs, ultra processed foods and pharmaceuticals destroying their chronic well being.....end of story!

Nutrients could be only 1 contributor. I don't get good sleep because of nasal disfigurement. No pill or mattress fixes this
