I remember I always wanted to work for Insomniac Games when I was in school because I loved Ratchet & Clank so much. I gave up wanting to be a game developer right before I finished school. Fast forward a few years and I have done nothing really great with my life but I'm happy you guys are still going strong!
Hornet It’s never too late! If your dream still lives, you can totally go for it! Insomniac inspired me to become an artist in the entertainment industry, and although it hasn’t been as easy or rewarding as I’d hoped, I’m still glad I did it.
that's not something you just give up, start by joining a small game studio or stay with that small game studio all your life, even starting humble is great, also you could just start by releaseing small simple games yourself and tell yourself you can do it like you did when you where a kid, works for me.
I'm so glad Sony bought you guys. Congrats on the success of Spiderman PS4. You guys broke records in Playstation history, even outselling GOW4. Nothing short of impressive! Love you guys!
I heard that Insomniac is not interested in developing the Resistance series anymore, but I'm sure Bluepoint may remake the first game down the road. Throughout their history, Ratchet and Clank will probably be present on every Playstation console, since Insomniac loves the universe, and utilizing the franchise into the Playstation. There are probably a number a dormant series on the Playstation that could always make a return down the road. Take a look at Medievil remade for the PS4. In fact, when you look at the initial lineup of games these studios made after they moved on, it's not that bad. For Jak and Daxter, a fourth game was planned for the PS3 was planned, but the project became The Last of Us. After Jak and Daxter, we had three Uncharted games, TLoU, Uncharted 4 and LL, then recently TLoU2. The PS5 is a system that will feel prime with the new controls, and Rift Apart has proven it. Sly Cooper on the other had, the 4th game was developed by a smaller company than Sucker Punch, who now work on VR. After Sly Cooper 3, SP did Infamous 1, 2, then SS, and recently Ghost of Tsushima. If anything, there is a slightly better chance Sucker Punch will return with either, or just deliver an IP. They are working on the film right now for Tsushima, and with the new TV series for Sly Cooper, the series could make some return.
Not surprised they wont return to Resistance anymore. Honestly, i think that franchise had SO much potential with the lore/story that it couldve been really something so memorable. I dont think they executed it as well as they could have. Either way, i loved the franchise at the time, and I definitely remember putting a lot of hours on Resistance 2 online. I actually needed only 1 trophy for platinum until they shut down the servers.😭
The upgrade is spectacular. I'll take a few of those old big CRT monitors if you guys don't want them lol BTW, we all want a new Resistance fall of man.
I stayed up all night for the first time in years tonight playing Resistance 3 on PS Now. Damn shame we didn’t get a remastered trilogy on the PlayStation4 with online servers etc. I hope they are working on a Resistance 4 or have plans for a remaster because the world and atmosphere is too damn good to not become 4K.
I will be forever thankful that you guys made the Resistance trilogy. I'm from the subreddit r/ResistancePlaystation. We're all planning to get the hashtag #ResistancePS5 trending on Sept 6th 2020. We chose this date because it was the release date of the final game in the trilogy (Resistance 3) Sept 6th 2011. We want to keep the spark and passion alive for the Resistance series. We hope many people can join us.

(@Insomniac Games) I know you guys are probably reading this because this is your channel after all and I just wanna say, thank you so much for Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart. I'm only 15 but my childhood was basically Ratchet and Clank. I claim to be the biggest Ratchet and Clank fan ever and that's simply because I AM the biggest Ratchet and Clank fan ever and I promise you, you can't prove me wrong. I have been looking forward to a sequel to Into the Nexus for 4 years and even 7 if you consider when Into the Nexus came out. I've seen both the gameplay trailer and the gameplay footage and I just wanna say that I'm amazed by what you guys have done. I'm so excited to play this game when it comes out. I literally screamed with my window open when I woke up this morning at roughly 8:30 (Central European time) and heard the news. I just wanna say that I'm not usually very trustful of companies because usually they just use people to make the most amount of money but you guys are practically the only company I trust in with all my heart. You guys at Insomniac have really been trying to deliver us fans the best of the best and I thank you for that. I have actually thought about working at Insomniac when I'm older in the past but I'm not too sure I like the LA weather nor the city. I still remenber trying to see how you could sign up at Insomniac when I was arond 8. Then there's also problems like healthcare but if I could work there I would. I even made made a few videos about Ratchet and Clank on my channel and every 12th April I do a speedrun of Ratchet and Clank PS4. The only complain I have about Rift Apart is that just like the previous game no one seems to shut up lol. Other than that, I have 0 complains. I actually don't have a Twitter account but I'm gonna create one exclusively to Tweet you guys today about how thankful I am for everything. I really appreciate everything you guys are doing and I can't wait til this game comes out. Thank you for making my childhood. I love you guys ❤❤
@@JONOVID I am not quite sure. Seriously. I love Disruptor, Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, and I am sure I would enjoy Resistance series as well. I really don't know. I haven't had a chance to play any of the PS3 Ratchet and Clank games but I am sure they are not as good as the original trilogy. I love Insomniac! Always will! They are up there with Reflections, Ubisoft, Edios, Bethesda, EA. To me at least. Overall, sadly to say Ratchet and Clank are pretty much done for. I think they really went off when they decided to remake the original Ratchet and Clank. Sorry I haven't had a chance to play the PS4 remake, but I'm sure that it's not as great as the original. Original is usually the best.
It makes me really excited to think about what Insomniac will be working on in the new studio. Most likely Spider-Man, but whatever it is I can’t wait.

@@pruhy1107 No need for hoping I've got good news for you. A new Ratchet and clank has been under development for a long time now. Ex-ign staffer Colin Moriarty recently confirmed in his podcast. Most likely a ps5 launch title. Insomniac has two teams one in burbank and one in NC. I'm guessing the Team in NC is developing Ratchet and the team in Burbank is developing spider man.
I want a new ratchet & clank game where it's a continuation of the OG series. In this new RAC game they must do a story about ratchet finding the lombax also SPOILERS: that Tachyon is the main Villains again since is STILL ALIVE. so much potential in story !!!
