As a yoga teacher this is everything! I can't tell you how many people REFUSE to use props cause they think it is a crutch and yet their literally doing damage and defeating the purpose of even being there. This content is gold and so over looked cause it's not the flashy stuff.

Implemented the sitting into my daily routine and the exercise when I'm not sore. I can't believe what is happening. My back is stacking and aligning for the first time in YEARS. I started developing Lumbar scoliosis and DDD in L4 and L5 and now 29 with colon issues. I feel a release into my hip joints and apparently my blood flow was restricted and my feet were numb?? Somewhat an emotional release after 5 days as I've been dealing with back/colon issues since a teenager. Crazy stuff man!! Subscribed!!

I can't do the sitting thing, I just can't get up into the forward knee bend bit at 4:52. Does anyone have any advice how to do it? I also got this nasty pop in my knee doing it, the knee which stays bent so I'm a bit scared of pushing myself to do it.

@@Freddie1M you need to have a certain amount of flexibility already to do these. If you have restrictions from injury, arthritis , age it’s going to be difficult to go straight into this. Listen to your body and modify

i instantly bought the Book from Aaron i have to say this is really a life changer.. so much detail, so much knowlege all things inner beauty concerned.. i absolutley love it - the simple floor sitting techniques are so challenging for me and i have problems since a long time with my upper back (pain and discomfort in the shoulders and breathing problems) life also feels since years a bit dull and i wish i would be way more confident in my own skin.. i really think this book is exactly i was looking for for so long.. i deeply thank you for your wisdom Aaron - u are an awesome guy and inspiration !! cant wait for the podcasts i will listen to on my long walks i do every day. cheers from austria !

It would be interesting to take a strength athlete (power lifter?) and incorporate this style of training as an adjunct to their normal programme. Recording their lifts (including the weight of their secondary exercises) at the start of a twelve week cycle, see how much they improve at the end. I think there's gold here. Thanks guys.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I feel like I have to exert a lot of energy just to sit and stand and I know it’s related to posture. I was severely tongue tied, which restricted my range of motion because of how it’s connected to fascia in other parts of the body. Now that it has been surgically released, I’m working on all the things I couldn’t do before. Sitting up straight with ease was one of them! Now I can sit up straight and with the help of this video I look forward to building strength in my spine that I never had before. Thank you!

Yeah, Like the previous dude, I was clean and jerking 260, squatting 400. But, I was stiff as a board with poor basics and all types of weird compensations. I've been doing SS for about 8 months and I feel much better. This is a good video, LOTS of information!

This is my favorite video, but I love them all. My goal is to be able to sit and get up easily for all of my life. So I love watching and getting inspired by this! When Les Gillian was teaching me yoga in the mid-seventies, it was all about energy efficiency and fewer breaths. Fast forward to the pollution of today's teaching where they want to "increase the metabolism", good grief!!

Great fun informative video I know bits of what you were saying Aaron but you put it all together in more detail and with a joined up philosophy based on sound fundamentals that make total sense. I have ordered your book few days ago I am in UK and won’t come for a while but something to look forward to. Also will do the routine looks great. I have a stiff lower back and pelvic discomfort doesn’t stop me doing anything but would like to I reduce the discomfort. I am doing Josh’s exercises as well good to see you two guys working together. Much appreciation🧘‍♂️
