Hi Dr Pal I am a doctor. I weighed 122kgs.in 2005. With diet and some walking I reduced my wt to 90 kgs in about 5 years but could not sustain it and gained weight and in 2023 I was weighing 107 kg. After watching your shows started IF(16/8) on 5th Sep 2023. Along with IF, stopped adding sugar to coffee and tea, stopped snacking ( only Breakfast , Lunch and early supper ( my last meal is before 5.30PM) and walking at least 10,000steps/day. My BP and came to normal and Diabetes reversed.( earlier my HbA1cM was 8.1 and now it is 5.4) My weight today is 72kg. (Lost 35 kgs in 11 months).Thank you very much for your videos. I am writing this long comment to let others know the benefits of your advice.

I really liked the way you take this concept of intermittent fasting to the next generation by inviting people like bhatt. Many youngsters will be tempted to watch this video and by that atleast some will change their lifestyle. Small drops make big ocean. I salute you 🙏🏻

இரண்டு பேரின் கலந்துரையாடல் அருமை. கடந்த 40 வருடங்களாக சைவஉணவு தான் சாப்பிடுகிறேன். 40 வருடத்திற்கு முன் அசைவஉணவு சாப்பிட்டடேன். சைவஉணவுக்கு மாறிய பின் நன்றாகவே இருக்கிறேன். மிக பெரிய பாதிப்பு ஏற்பட்டும் இப்போது நலமுடன் இருக்கிறேன். இரவு உணவை இரவு 08.00 மணிக்குள் சாப்பிடுவது மிக,மிக நல்லது. மருத்துவரின் ஆலோசனை அருமை. வெங்கடேஷ் பட் - அவர்களின் ஆலோசனையும் அருமை. வாழ்க வளமுடன். நன்றி.

I am sharing this with my appa! He has been watching all Bhat sir's recipes and creating them exactly without changing the ghee quantity! Jokes apart.. I have seen some videos of Bhat where he had mentioned about having dinner and Biriyani past midnight and how it is killing people. And then I stmbled upon your videos and channel doc, and was doing this time restricted feeding of close to 15 hours of fasting . For the past 2-3 months I am totally off due to work stress, this new year I am getting back on track and gonna get back to my 15-9 fasting-eating window!

I started time restricted eating ,after watching Dr.Palaniappan’s videos , since last 2 months. My weight has come down by 12 kgs so far. Prior to that , I was walking/jogging 5-6 miles a day- 5 days a week. Even then, my weight was continuously on the rise. With Time restricted eating, My weight gain stopped and started reverting to natural lean weight.

Both are very interesting. From today onwards I am going to follow Dr. Pal. Thank you Doctor. I will tell you the results after one month. Few year back I am not taking food after 6.30pm.but 7.30 I took milk. Hereafter I won't take milk.

Doctor Iam a Research Guide and I have worked on this intermittent feeding with various feeding time periods in fishes for one of my Research student based on her interest and we found some interesting results and happy this is one kind of a work which concept is picking up momentum now . Saw this video jus now a very interesting discussion missed it in jan month thanks Venkatesh Bhat sir for that lively conversation with Dr.Pal Doctor one side effect of losing weight is losing hair (hair fall ) what can be done for that tell us what are supplementation to be done to avoid this ? Do make a video to reduce PCOS IN young women and how should it be corrected in young growing female children as it causes a lot of hormonal disturbances which affects their performances in studies at a crucial age when higher studies and their Multifaceted growth gets affected due to hormonal imbalances & emotional disturbances

It has been one year since the video was released. Being overweight and possibly obese, Chef Bhat is a good subject for this topic. How much weight did Chef Bhat lose by following his own advice of "not eating after 7PM"? How much improvement in good bacteria? How much improvement in his GI and NAFLD problems?

I am following the nightstand of not eating but only sometimes I skip it I believe that after 30, two meals leaving the dinner is the way forward and if this is done we can have an healthy life at late age

Im a doctor, I'm following intermittent fasting from 6pm to 10:45am since 2 months, it's working sir. As you rightly said consistency matters. I need to be fit not aiming to reduce weight but weight got automatically reduced. Hats off to Dr. Pal

My br in law's son ,who is five years old, got up at night in order to take fever medicine , his mom asked him to take biscuits before taking syrup to avoid taking medicine in empty stomach. He replied immediately Dr. Pal told not to eat at night. See Dr, howmuch you have impacted even children 😂

I tried to do dinner before 7pm ...i cant do because of my kids routine..but am trying to have dinner before 8 pm atleast .. i had good result ...i had no heartburn or acidity problem ..but I ate dinner late by 10 pm for an occasion i had dosa and chutney ..my sleep got affected by IBS.. My mom is a doctor general practice she too saw ur videos and told me to follow your diet .. i said to mom already i will see ur videos and trying to my best. Thank you Doctor

Lovely conversation, the secret sauce of Mr Bhat is being so self critical, he is a celebrity and see his humility, lots to learn from him. Dr sir, it seems as per ayurveda the jatar agni - called digestive fire is directly correlated with the sun, hence our food gets its best processing in our system when sun is up. after that what happens is , it seems our food gets fermented and effected in our system if we eat after sun set it seems.

Fantastic conversation. Dr. Pal, you mentioned about Autism in kids and bad bacteria increase in their gut. What kind of foods can I give to kid to rectify it? Kid 4 year old currently. As you said, full active and talking until 2 years old and then everything changed. Really it would be helpful if any food change or life style change, would make her life better. We are vegetarian by birth, don't eat eggs even in pastries

As usual very educative , thanks to both . However as i believe Our life span before westernisation is around 46 in 1960's. Saying that doesn't mean that we are good or better.We have to reach min 82 years life span same like wesern countries. Even exceeding should be our target.

Great to watch your videos. I have a question 🤔 I have been diagnosed with gall bladder sludge, and doctor suggested for surgery if pain is recurrent. But can I go for intermittent fasting for weight loss at this time, will it not severise my gall bladder problem??!! Kindly suggest 🙏

Tanks a lot.I'm 88.following Same method since several jeans,it océans m'y breakfast at 6 lunch at 11dinner17.30. Dit tout and cereal(it océans not rice,pasta,potages or others) I'm 62 kto 153. Not normal I think. I know Well I 'm stressed. Also doing exercice. Only thing satisfaction,I've not any physical problem dit tout rhumatisme. Not médical tretement daim.try To loose weight dit tout success. What can I do?
