This is episode 2 of an ongoing series following the construction if a wooden International 2.4 meter class sailboat.
In this video we meet my customer and go for a brief dock-walk to get a feel for what we are going to be building in the 2.4mR Project

Yup! All of us that love wooden boats are crazy. But in our world of wooden boats, we are the only sane ones. Thank you for the dock walk. Those little racing yachts look amazingly sleek and fast just sitting on the dock. Must be exceptional fun on the water. Have a good week ahead.

The wonderful thing about those boats is that they look big until you stand by them. Very well designed; they remind me of a racing car series we have in the UK called Legends, based on 1930's and '40's cars from the US, but 1/3 size. I think they originated in the US too.

HaHaHa, we call those go-carts unless four or five guys in funny suits and red noses emerge from each one.

The RU-vid algorithm suggested that I watch your channel and I must say that I enjoy it very much. But until now, being referred back top this episode, I had not the slightest idea of what a 2.4 mR was or that was even a sailboat!
