@@Radarssbm The June '18 - Oct '19 injury recovery period. (It seems the algorithm took quite some time to roll your content back into my rotation despite your ~14 months of content creation since returning and my being subscribed before and during that entire time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

@@RTB1400 That's so depressing lol, the algorithm is very frustrating. Unfortunately I'm actually still recovering. Even though I've returned to content, I wasn't doing it nearly as often as I'd like due to injury. I still took time off work too, but hopefully I'll return prettysoon. I've made a lot of progress in certain areas at least!

What I will say is I know people that are specifically waiting for ranked to jump into slippi. Not even people that have an interest in going to tournaments. Just cuz there are those online warriors for fighters that live for seeing their rank go up

I think people are thinking too much about newcomers as little rabbits that might get scared away at any point, I say just have ranked and unranked and it will be great regardless. Low skill players tend to meet in unranked modes anyway, and a bunch of them also play ranked trying to get better even if they are hard stuck low elos.

Also melee is All about competitiveness, people that just want to have 'funny fun' play ultimate on joycon, not melee
