Chinese and Japanese don't like each other, in WW2 Japanese did stuff to Chinese and other Asians 😢 just like karate V's Kung Fu which one is the best?😮
Wing Chun is a close combat art, with extremeties of attacking and defending at the same time. It's ancestor is Wu Mei, an art that was also derived from 5 ancestors when the Shaolin Temple got destroyed.
The story of its lineage is that a Shaolin nun, Ng Mui, invented it from watching a crane fight a snake, then taught it to her first student Yim Wing Chun (there is a cool old kung fu movie starring Michelle Yeoh as Yim). It's a bit questionable, as what would a nun be doing at all-male Shaolin Temple XD Still an awesome origin story, and it's definitely an ideal form of self defence for women.
And on this setting, Ip Man was in his late 70’s and dying from cancer. If this had been the Ip Man from the first movie when he was on his prime, he would’ve disposed of the black belt before he even realized what was happening
wing chun is for 400 years ago . Many people think Wing Chun is like a movie. But no, Wing Chun has so many techniques that are not followed at all in boxing, such as rotating the body one hundred and ninety degrees, which causes the power to accumulate and we punch quickly. In Wing Chun, like boxing, we do not have a back foot and a special guard for the foot because it drains energy and focus for the main guard of Wing Chun. Wing Chun has a special guard that is only by hand, this guard is designed in such a way that when the opponent, even if a boxer like Tyson, hit the opponent with the first fist, we do not wait like the boxer for the second fist, we defend the first fist and We do the same with three or four punches. In fact, in Wing Chun, defense is offensive. Wing Chun has five or six types of defense for each fist. And Wing Chun masters have the fastest punches, a professional Wing Chun fighter has to punch four times a second.
The one thing I found interesting about this scene was how the Karate master was using a Japanese martial arts style to insult Chinese martial arts. How is he going to insult people calling them yellow ******* while using martial arts originating from East Asia?
That last block-counter punch-leg sweep was beautiful; when I used to do wing chun demos with my school that was my move, they'd put a big guy in protective gear and have him aim a punch at me so I could put him on his ass while the audience watched XD Donnie Yen's execution was textbook
Same for alot of arts. When you aren't fighting for style or points the actual art you use makes little difference. and is entirely based on two individuals fighting. For this reason even a wresler has a good chance at beating a so called kung fu master. Same as a boxeer or any mma student. Style and form only go so far
How was martial art skill of master law students and it is so hilarious to think about the student who learm from master law...............😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
If its the guy inthink your talking about his name is Xu xiaodong and he's fight these mostly these fake masters who he believes are hurting true kung fu, his story is interestibg you should check it out
1:19 that Lo Mang old celestial classic movie he was a super super good actor in martial arts movies.. Check him out the best movie i like the most was , Invisible Shaolin, Two Champions Of Shaolin and The Kid With The Golden Arm... You guys should react it..
I forget his name, but that MMA fighter you referring to challenging the masters. The only issue I have with that is he actually trains for full contact. I mean both being hit and fighting full out. In todays day where it's peaceful and there isn't a need for martial arts in the same way it was back when the arts were created. Back then they were training for war and to fight for honor etc. Compared to today where traditional martial arts are trained more for all of the other benefits that come from learning martial arts. Now if you were to take one of those masters only they too trained for several years the same way an MMA fighter does. Training for full contact fighting not just sparring etc. would lead to a different outcome imo. The MMA fighter might still win out over a master of a single form of kungfu..... I mean Bruce isn't the goat because he mastered wing chun, he's the goat because after he did master it he used it as a base to build his own style (jeet) by combining and adding parts from other styles to it. He's the father of mixed martial arts! So while the MMA fighter might still pull out the win ultimately, had he faced a master with the same type of contact training as he does, it wouldn't be so one-sided imo.
You are right he did challenge him however that was not a real Wayne tongue Kung Fu Master I took boxing and before I took boxing I was a street fighter and by the way before I complete myself I am black and poor Cherokee Indian again I'll talk boxing but before I talk boxing I was a street fighter then later on down the line I took kickboxing down the line later kaji kimbo karate later on down the line I took traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu then I I took combat it Wing Chun Kung Fu and what I learned your opponent size do not matter it's all about a skills the problem is right now why ringtone is getting a bad route because you have people who pretend to be Wing Chong Masters and they're not they know their hand positions and yet they do not know what they mean because of Wing Chung Kung Fu I have defeated much bigger opponent my teacher is very skillful through this learn to be very skillful and again what the problem is is you have fake martial artist pretending like they Wing Chun Kung Fu Masters when they're skills are only illusion for a school of fools who believe that they are real when they are not
