The iPhone 15 might be overpriced but it beaten Samsung s24 ultra at least according to MrWhoseTheBoss even though the price difference is significant and the detail of it is slightly insignificant, it doesn’t disappoint way to deeply
I went for the 16PM and the camera control button feels like the MacBook Pro Touch Bar all over again. A design created to solve a problem we didn’t have.
You know u can go into camera settings > camera controls and turn off clean preview. This will always show camera controls and won’t hide them. I’m surprised you guys missed this
I know im in the minority, but personally don't hate camera control at all. I actually find it pretty neat - essential? absolutely not, but deal-breakingly dreadful? no either
I don’t understand why the camera button is indented. Most people have a case on their iPhones and the new button being buried below the phone surface makes it even harder to work with while the phone is in a case. I could understand it being buried if it were closer to the corner (which it should be) so it could avoid accidental presses while holding it. Seems like a half baked idea.
Are you serious? The good: I love the thinner bezels, it makes the experience more immersive. The bad: I have a problem with the thinner bezels because I have to retrain myself how to use/hold the phone. 🤦🏻♂️
He claims that using camera control shakes the phone, then he shakes the phone trying to take a photo with the on-screen button. 😂 Whatever dude, just don't the camera control button if you don't like it.
@@planinshek Video should NEVER be recorded in portrait mode! This is the one thing that ALL smartphone manufacturers need to implement, locking in landscape when capturing video regardless of how it gets held. Our eyes are side by side so should our videos. ;-)
@@cpufrost I used to agree with that. However, with more and more video being consumed on mobile devices, things are changing. I’m talking about something quick that you want to send to a friend or family member or post on social media. Not making a movie or RU-vid video which I agree should always be landscape.
Fyi I think you can adjust the camera button sensitivity settings and more in accessibility(?) Or I saw there’s ways in settings to adjust in case anyone is wondering
@@jackblack73 the fact that you have to explain how to do it ands it’s not intuitive is a issue. That’s not very Apple and if a review can’t figure it out then your average consumer will not
Also, I don't see a big deal about the AI not releasing with the phone yet. They will release it when they're ready. It will be bad PR if it sucks and unfinished.
This is the right answer, don’t market it like it comes with the phone if you can’t get it right on launch. This isn’t a trailer, you already bought the product
I think that the fact that is not release yet has to do with marketing itself, everyone is complaining and talking about it. I want to believe that apple is not that stupid to make this upgrade without knowing everything that is happening right now.
"I love the new bezels!" - 5 min later - "I don't like these new bezels!" Jesus dude, pick one. This is why Apple has no direction, there's no winning.
i can agree with him on this. The pros come with a cons as well. i sometimes thought my iphone lag and didnt register my press but actualy my fingers touched the side of the phone and caused multi touch
I agree what comes to Camera control. It feels just gimmicky extra button for camera. It’s horrible to use with 16PM, way too far. For example zooming much easier with thumb. I guess if they add functionality to cam button with intelligence etc. it’s might be okay, but for just camera is worthless.
The 15 Pro Max keeps on looking better and better for an upgrade from my 13 Pro Max. Still gets the new Apple AI, still has 5x optical zoom camera, still has the “island”, still has the USB-C connector and the picture quality has already been great enough on my 13 Pro Max, so it can only be better on the 15 Pro Max. And I’ll save $500 when the Black Friday sale comes! Best of all worlds.
Only thing I really use the button for is to bring up the camera, then I use the screen like a normal person. I agree the button was a miss, I’d rather they focus entirely on making improvements to the battery. I’m an adamant believer that phones nowadays should last for at least 48hours with heavy use.
I’ll be ok with a new phone pro 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😅since i have a new charger in Palisade! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤yay i cannot wait to get my new iPhone 16 Pro Max even though i am 18 years older and ill be able to take more pictures for more occasions like thanksgiving 🎉and birthdays 🎂 😘😘🧁🎶🍰🥳( with music played with song and cake) and family dinners and 🎉Topgolf events🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉also bowling!!!!!! I’m looking forward to all that when we go to Jersey Gardens Mall this weekend tomorrow evening 9/27/24 Friday to JGM as a family! I’ll be thrilled to tell my friends about my new phone 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉and the new features and looking on ways to zoom and how to hold your iphone it touches the area 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉it’s very cool! Let’s go get it! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Saw this coming a mile away. Ditch the gimmicks and give us more storage. No need for 48mpxl on an ultrawide that already distorts an image by nature- huge need for 48mpxl on a zoom lens. But hey, I’m only a consumer. What do I know.
I’m so tired of hearing about cameras!! They’re better than last year. Cool. Why so much time spent on them! 99% of us point the phone and take a picture never really to be seen again. Who cares that it’s got 3 quadrillion more pixels. The phones 10 years ago were good enough. So sick of the attention on cameras. Camera comparison, video comparison, objectional comparison, underwater comparison. They were good enough to stop talking about 5-7 years ago.
If the iphone 15 pro max is getting all the AI features coming to the 16 series, how are they going to implement the one where you snap a picture with the capture button and it gives you information about the picture like google lens???
@@Garrus-w2h So keep and buy the 16 pro max full price? Or maybe upgrade to the SE 4 and wait for the 17/18 pro max in the meantime? I really agree with you that trade in isn't worth it. I also need the 14 pro as a youtube camera as a secondary device. What should I do? I have iPhone 11 regular too.
I'm sorry, it's a FAIL to give all the Apple Intelligence features to previous version phones? Because of "Exclusivity"? If they only gave them to the 16, you would say it was Apply forcing an upgrade. This is a dumb statement.
The new 48MP ultra wide looks rubbish. Far to smaller sensor. 50% bigger Apple! Would have rather had all the money spent on the camera button actually put into the sensors
I don’t know why everyone is complaining about the camera control. It’s not like they raised the price for the phone. The screen controls are still there. If you don’t like it don’t use it. Simple😊
I disagree that the camera button is a flop. I replaced my camera app icon on the lock screen with voice memos, because I have a dedicated camera button that I can use to go straight to the camera while the screen is off. That's been a feature on android for 5 years minimum, finally glad to see apple catch up. They could have done more with that button like add touch ID, but lets take it in strides. It's okay. The camera button is good.
Dude you are confuse af, are you the one was so hype?? So why the hate now? The control is good addition just incase you want to use it, THATS IT. Ntn is perfect! You did all this for VIEWS
honestly the camera control needs getting used too. I don’t have the responsive issues with it, the double tap is a double force press, but its true, it always makes you shake the whole phone right before you press it.
Camera control is not an upgrade , this is downgrade ? When will you understand? Flat screen is not an upgrade? This is a downgrade ? Kindly understand? Stupid Apple
personally I hate the ISO 18 layout . apple please put it back to how it was. Can't find anything anymore , photo layer rubbish .... it's well over complicated than it needs to be ..
I am returning my 16 PM. I got a booty device. The phone overheats, glitches, and doesn’t render the app icons (they are just the default app grid icon). And the worst part is that the Camera Control doesn’t work. It crashes the springboard and the phone reboots.
Apple is still dimming screens when intensive actions are happening like setting up with iCloud the video i watched the pro max dimmed when they did that. Problem still exists the heat shielding will help though
These sound like personal issues than technical errors. What's the problem when an iPhone having 2 ways to access camera? Just use the original method if you uncomfortable with the new one.
