What a wonderful place. These days, with all of our modern conveniences and everyone rushing to and fro, it's easy to forget how humble and lovely the homes, communities and life was long ago. It's so nice to be reminded of those simpler days and makes me wish we could find our way back to a kinder, faith and family oriented, more wholesome time. Thank you for that visit. The carving of the woman with her bits out are called Sheela Na Gigs. There is one in the church at Kilpeck in Herefordshire. I think you would like it there. It's a beautifully carved church. The castle looks huge but very interesting. So much to see.

I live on the East Coast not far from Dublin. You should be sponsored by the Irish Tourist Board, honestly. You have been to more places around Ireland than I ever had the time to see! Great content, and I enjoy looking up the old Abbeys and places of interest, and make a note of where to go next. Thank you so much for opening up Ireland even to some of the natives! Those things at the end are called corn stools, they're used for keeping crops and thatch above the ground and the caps prevent rodents from nesting inside. Straw on top keeps it dry and the rain runs off. Just a bit of information for ye. Glad you enjoyed your visit to the folk Park. Christmas and Halloween are great there too . And the medieval banquets are back in full swing after the restrictions have been lifted 👍👍👍

Mazz, the reindeer names are, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen, although Donder is often called Donner, but Rudolph was the only one with a red nose. 😉
