I know there goimg to be a lot of people disappointed with how they portrayed the red de*the but i got to say her putting on that suit was pretty cool. It was giving me iron man flashbacks.

The speed armor of Savitar is way cooler than Red Death's (especially suiting up)

She quoted Kevin Conroy, and its sorta okay because its tribute just after his death, but everyone was talking about Michael Keaton returning for 1+ year now, so this was a bad choice especially its crossing the line of cringe once she says it the second time

Coolest introduction, transformation of any flash villain to date. Very scary, but interesting and nice camera movement next to it. Something different, as no speedster before had a suit he can literally control remotely while being somewhere else looking like a normal person. Cant wait for the rest of season 9

I will say, as not a fan of "Ryan Wilder" Batwoman (nothing against Javicia Leslie she's pretty and her natural hair is better than that dumb wig too, with a better script she could've been far better same with that show overall), this red death storyline being presented really isn't bad. I don't like there is no real personal connection with red death, I would've preferred it be Stephen Amell's Arrow symbol and turned out to be him. That said, Iris using her literal main talent-daughter of a detective, top news reporter, to deduce Ryan's story was bs even b4 the "royal flush gang vs. wonderland gang" question was solid. I was also suprised to see the "suiting up" scene actually look that good, given the endless downgrade of suits (other than the boots since S8, I liked that for flash's outfit) and CGI. It could've had more weight to the overall story but tbh this is far better than super shredder forces "milking tom cavanaugh reverse flash when we could've done a full circle matt letsch reverse flash story instead" by far. It's just a shame even when improvising or changing stories they have been so inconsistent from season to season, like the way they handled Savitar is really underrated tbh.

I never liked Candice Patton's performance, but I thought she did an incredibly phenomenal job in this scene. I now think that it is possible that she could really shine when given the right material and direction.
