I dont think this chap realises how counter-productive his position is. He sounds so entitled but fails to understand that if doctors do not get properly compensated, either they change professions or they just move to other countries like the US or Australia. Then the NHS is heavily understaffed and its no longer an issue of your 'doctor striking while you in ICU' but a matter of your doctor not being there at all because they've left for good. All because you didn't want to pay them a half decent wage. Its not like they are asking to be millionaires!
The US and Australia can pick and choose and will select highly educated, properly trained, competent doctors which excludes the vast majority of overpaid British medics.
She should have asked him how much he was on. I bet he’s on a dam sight more than a doctor is. Even though he’s not worth a fraction of a doctors wage. The Tory apologist in my eyes isn’t even worth the minimum wage.
