The real issue is that the dating culture has changed so much that people are starving for a relationship. It is human nature to want a connection. Women take whatever they get, lying to themselves about what it is. Proving, tap dancing, doing the most and getting nothing in return. I have been there more than once and am older than her. This woman is highly wrapped up into how SHE feels when with him. All you hear is how she feels in this letter. (Which we’ve all been there and understand). Having been there, what keeps you hooked is your ego. You cannot believe that you got played and refuse to accept it. You want to prove to yourself that you were right, but the game is with yourself! In order to move on, you have to accept that you overlooked the red flags, that you were feeling lonely and therefore vulnerable. And then forgive yourself, learn the lessons, take the hard lumps and emerge stronger and braver. Then you won't allow yourself to be deceived again. But I have seen women wait years to prove something to themselves, and got lost in the game.

Before I knew what “ghosting” was, I thought this man was in some sort of danger because we had just made plans for me to visit him (long distance)(his idea), but then I didn’t hear from him again. I waited about a week then called his local police to do a wellness check 😩😂 Mannn that lady officer said “Ma’am, I went by the house and he is just fine. It appears that he just doesn’t want to talk to you anymore. So I think it’s best that you leave him alone.” 😳🤭😂 Lmaoo I could tell she felt so bad for me lol. I was soo embarrassed because I’ve known him for years so it didn’t occur to me that he would do that. That was the first time I was ever ghosted 😂
