My ex contacted me after NC in a half assed attempt to get me back in his life AS A FRIEND. He absolutely misses me and wants me back but the romantic attraction isn't there (yet). Guys if you apply it as soon as possible it works! And during the break if you let that person know you still want them No contact will be even stronger because you show even more strength by not chasing. Personally for me I've done it 2 times to the same person.First time it took 4-5 weeks and the second time 7weeks but it does work

I went no contact for 45 days and asked for my stuff back. It took a total of 2.5 months later to finally meet and get my stuff back. No contact in between that time. Im going to share my experience with other ex's (now going through a breakup with a new one, NC for 6 days) THEY ALL CAME BACK. Sooner or later, being dumped or doing the dumping, they all always consistently reached out to me. Now, obviously theres been different situations, with an ex I dumped he wanted to get back, I never did. That case doesn't really count for most of the situations here. The hardest breakup I had I was dumped for some other girl, it was long distance and they lived on the same city so made sense, but I felt betrayed, lied, etc. I think around 6 months later he came back, and I had blocked him everywhere, without explaining, without love letters, without nothing, when i found out what he was doing (playing us both) I just blocked him. He tried to reach me everywhere, before they broke up, and after they broke up. Until this day, he messaged me, begging for forgiveness. I thought I'd never get over him. I now realize I was always above him anyway, and I wouldn't go near him even if someone paid me. Im glad for the good moments we had, I don't regret it, but that's it. And Ive had other similar situations. So don't despair, I know now every day seems like an eternity, but eventually you will move on, and maybe (hopefully) when they do come back, you will be over and above them. Because we deserve to be with someone who doesnt ever feel like dumping us, who doesn't doubt us, who LOVES us. Love doesn't leave, does not abandon, does not belittle, and put you down. So, work on yourself, live your best life, and someone who is worth it will show up. Or not, and you'll be happy alone. Love yourself first.

Hey! I am looking for advice. She was at a bbq with a few colleagues, we were doing just fine, acting normal. All of a sudden she changed her attitude towards me and while I was writing paragraphs telling her how annoyed I was cause she was acting all weird, she was barely replying with short texts and didn't wanna answer the phone at all costs. She kept telling me to leave her alone until I couldn't stand the situation anymore and just told her to get out of my life and blocked her everywhere. wow its been a wild 2 months, I went no contact with my ex girlfriend the day that we broke up, we broke up pretty amicably but i could see she wanted it so i gave it to her. TBH, no contact has never worked on me and on my first gf, who was already fucking my replacement before I left the house. It's been 7 years, and haven't seen her since. I have met her on the streets a few times since... like 4 or 5 times. Sometimes she looked at me. But I did my best to avoid eye contact. I didn't want her back, since she already made children with the guy. LAD (love addiction disorder) my ass. My current... ex... broke up with me a second time. Never been abusive, she was talking about toxic, but I don't know she really understands what that means. I've always been very supportive and friendly. Maybe I dropped the ball one time. She was rubbish at breaking up. It's been 3 months and a half now, but she officially broke up only 3 months ago, and I've seen her 2-3 times since. last time being two months ago. Then I found you. Damage done I guess. She had her studies, which she couldn't combine with me. Expressed that maybe we didn't match in the end. She had a lot of work on herself, but so do I. I've never seen the problem with working on them within the confines of a relationship. She did. I don't understand. I think I had some days without crying already. So that's good.
