I want this to be a double bluff. Ricky really is the owner, but he likes being one of the guys. And has made some terrible personal financial choices and instead of hurting his employees he used his personal wealth to keep the company going while he crashed with "the boss"
Ricky always liked working with a good crew of guys since the day he worked his first job site. Even after he he started his own company and made it big, he took time away from the mountains of paperwork at the office to go down to the job site and help out the guys. To him it was like a break, it helped him relax, settle his mind, and forget about the mounting financial issues his company was having. There were times when if he hadn't gone out to the site he might have hurt somebody. But working on the site with the guys made him feel young again. Like he was home again.
Ricky is a genius who keeps the safety man busy writing up the owner on BS that nothing can be done about while the boys work uninterrupted by the safety man and gets stuff done.
Okay, as an owner of a construction business, I’ve had a few funny things happen. The best was probably when a new safety girl was hired. I went out to a job site in the morning for a meeting, stopped in to check on the foreman (without a hard hat, boots, etc, on) and had to leave. I got back to the office and my secretary tells me that there is a big safety issue at that job site. The safety girl had called in reporting some guy, no hard hat, had put political stickers on a work vehicle, was using foul language, etc. He left before she could talk to him. I realized she was reporting me. This was too good to pass up, so I told my secretary to call her boss and have them come up to the office in the morning to discuss this employee’s infractions. I hear her in the meeting room talking about this guy, and so I just walked in the room. You should have seen her face. Her eyes got like dinner plates. She started apologizing, I was like hey, it’s good to know you’re actually paying attention on the job sites. Even the owner should wear PPE on the job site, after all.
I vaguely remember some story about a guy who worked in I wanna say a factory who chewed the owner out for not having on PPE while walking around saying how it was dangerous for the company because he thought the owner was just some dude. The owner then went on to thank him for making sure everything was safe.
It's why he employs seniors, safety men, "illegals", He's a legit good guy and enjoys being in the field and wants to make sure good people who need jobs have them. Ricky is a legit BOSS!! This is why he does the crazy stuff he does cuz he knows they are insured and just wants to have some fun. I'd watch every season of this on netflix and the last 3 episodes ever are the reveal that he was the boss all along. Please make it happen!!!
I swear to god I wanna see Ricky as some sort of undercover boss that went “too deep to pull out” or his wife owns the company or some shit. This is gonna be epic.
Your thinking to small...... He should own the business that employs the construction company. He doesn't own the construction company he owns the some muilty million dollar company that has in the contract must employs X person as a part of the bid no question ask he cannot be fired and will be employed for the full term of the job. Let's it go up the chain where the real owners of the construction company turn and.... "Ummmm I'm not sure either what he does" Really build it up.
Theory: Ricky used to be a shrewd, calculation entrepreneur who started his own construction company at a young age. Since he was young and without capital, he had to file the business under a separate equity company which gave him the initial business loan. In the lore, it's stated that Ricky has been with the company longer than anyone besides the "boss". Ricky set up the initial payroll system and hired his first employee, the safety man, remotely without yet meeting him in person. Before they could meet in person, Ricky had a tragic accident involving blunt force trauma to the brain which simultaneously gave him amnesia and stunted his cognitive function. So when the safety man showed up for work on his first day the "boss" was nowhere to be seen, but there was Ricky who was wearing full construction attire in a construction shop and wasn't quite sure what was going on. Safety man, who was also confused by not finding his new "boss" anywhere, but noticing Ricky was already on the payroll, did not know what to do. The outside equity company called the office phone at the shop that Ricky had previously set up, but the safety man happened to answer. He explained that the "boss" had gone AWOL, but had already hired a young guy named Ricky. The other company's management, quite frustrated at the situation, grudgingly accepted the situation and hired an HR girl on the "boss's" behalf. The company has been operating every since with lose reporting structure, but continues to hire the company's employees. The safety man reports the profits to the management at the equity company, and the rest is history...... Will Ricky ever regain his memories? Will management ever show up on site to realize Ricky has the same face as the "boss"? Did I pull all of this out of my ass? The answer to all three questions is a solid 'perhaps...'
I've seen this happen with a plant manager, yelling at a programmer and wanted him fired because he was " taking too long". We all sat down in the control room dying from laughter on the inside when he found out the Programmer was a Majority owner of the company.
@@Potateornottotate Truckers are in short demand, in that my step father got a 10k bonus, just for signing on with a company lmao. Trucker shortage has been going on ever since COVID.
@@matthewcampbell7286 Having been around trucking since I've been born (as in both my parents were truckers). There's more a likelihood we get flying cars, then a fully automated trucking industry.
or 'safety inspector occupier'. he just has to be the focus of the safety inspector so everyone else can do their job, while the company can still claim to have a safety inspector
Those are actually a thing. We had a new guy that caught on super quick but was a total piece of shit in every way. Six months in he showed up in office casual and informed us he was basically undercover from corporate and would be having meetings with people about what he's seen here. I remember we had one sup, the kind of guy who got to the top by kissing ass and snitching out everybody. This guy described him as a 'walking HR nightmare and discrimination lawsuit waiting to happen. Recommend immediate termination.'
I loved owning my own business. Had a few people kind of look at me funny when they found out I was the owner of the company. Just because I worked with the crew. Gotta save that dollar where ya can.
My boss is 60 and he works with us all the time😂😂, we do fire alarms and burg alarms, just last week he shocked himself dealing with a water flow switch on top the ladder😂😂 yelled pretty loud scared the shit out of the both of us 😂
I remember I was working in a customer's house one day and he started talking down to me out of nowhere, thought I was just an employee, with my sales person standing next to him. My salesman was looking nervous the whole time to say the least xD.. The guy said something along the lines of, make sure you do that job right, you don't want the boss to dock your pay. I looked at him and said, I am the owner.... The customer turned white as a sheet and my salesman about had a nervous breakdown thinking they were in trouble. LOL
Dude I just started this job over 2 months ago and I love it. Literally everyone is busy doing work for the company. The owner down to HR and I friggin love it. This time of year is when we are super busy and everyone is focused on the goal
This is by far the best prank I've ever seen Ricky pull off so far . Great job on this one . I really hope there's a part 2 and possibly a part 3 to this one . It could be huge , to continue with this joke . Lovin it 💓! 😁👊🏼🤞🏼✌🏽
I have to say, this is my favorite one. I have watched this one more than a dozen times and laugh every time. You did great on this one, especially with the shaky hands on the phone. 👏👏😂🤣🤣
yea seriously nothing fundamental wrong with a headman that makes *everyone* that steps on their site work. Just osha laws and employment status should be... checked, i guess XD
I was randomly compared to Ricky a few weeks back at work. I wasn’t aware the channel up until then. I after watching the videos for a bit I can say I’m honored to be compared to one of the greats.
That was the best one yet buddy. I do love the fact that for a 'quick laugh', they're is a huge depth to the characters and plot. You're wasted on RU-vid. We need a full TV series.
I watch this religiously whenever I have a bad day at work. Thank you so much for this, it really brings a smile to my face, still, after a couple of dozen views.....
The fact that my supervisor looks just like you (just blond hair) and that I keep him running in circles due to my crazy antics and spontaneous funny bullshit makes me like your channel even more. Kinda need to see Ricky been the owner or at least the son of the owner!
Made my day with this one!!! Had a bad day with work and a poppyseed bagel....didn't end well lol but this video gave me my first laugh today thanks for doing what you do
Always try the poppy seed bagel excuse LMAO 🤣 they've caught on to the fact that 1 out of 1000 people that happened with. The rest is just stoners lol Speaking from experience sadly 🤣
@@TherapyWithWind Roscoe is getting too old for this shit. Well I mean he was too old for this shit 30 years ago too, but now he's really too old for it
I see a lotta junk on the internet, but this stuff IS truly epic. The creator hits the workplace right on the head, it’s as good for blue collar as Dilbert is/was for white collar. Rarely causes me not to laugh on/off the rest of the day. Thank you !
Dude idk how you manage to come up with some of this stuff but it's is just glorious especially with how you play Ricky and like 4 other people sometimes and it's always gold lol I can tell certain skits come from real life stuff but some these off the wall skits are just pure gold lol 😂 keep up the good work buddy your doing awesome 👌
That was the funniest shit ever, I don’t care who you are, how pissed off at the world you are because the free money dried up, that will make you laugh!!!! Thank you for all the work you do to making people laugh till it hurts, it helps to keep me sane in a insane world.
@@danielnansel7538 It's time for those poor people to get back to work. Construction is booming right now and definitely hiring. The free rides are over.
@@jonathand3613 There’s a labor shortage because hundreds of thousands of people have died, John. Get your head out of your ass. It’s not because poor people don’t want to work to make money. There’s literally a global pandemic still raging, people are still dying, and companies are still offering shit pay.
Hell yes I love this channel it's hard to find something to laugh at throughout my day but it is really nice to know I can get on this channel and laugh really good thanks for the great videos and thank you for making me laugh
Another banger lmao but I'm hoping this one plays out a few weeks or longer on the safety man and it would be good to know that Ricky really is the owner cause him telling you he secretly got that number to the safety man that could still mean Ricky didn't want even you to know hes the owner lol lots of possibilities with this one boss man lol
Freaking love your videos brother, that fucking Ricky is a trip. You’re one of about three people that I followed over from TT because i love your content. Please keep them coming
