Worth mentioning is that wide tires don't perform very well in mud, but then again most people who do this to their trucks don't leave the pavement.

depends in deeper mud they do better cuz they float. i have 12 inch wide duratracs on my jeep and they're great in the snow but sometimes the stockers would have a little more traction I'm sure because they sink to the bottom but for the deep snow you can't beat them

I haven’t had any issues with the police over my truck thankfully here in Colorado. Probably because there are a lot of lifted and modified Jeeps and trucks on the road so it’s kind of a lifestyle out here with all the 4WD trails and such.

You can buff your windows out and polish them up with fine steel wool. Makes them look good and new. And if you ever wanna do the fish bowl look “no tint” you’d use fine steel wool to polish the window to a shine.

Always had lifted trucks, just traded in my 05 Ram on 38’s. I’m happy to say I’m done, my 2017 Ram is staying stock. I always overlooked the negatives because it looks so cool but at 50 I’m going for comfort and dependability. Thanks for the video, my trucks always had scratched side windows it drove me nuts.

2002 ram with -24 and wheel spacers so like a -44 now might get -44 with adapters next time just run these for a few but love ur truck!!!

I agree there are negatives. I hate how my 24x14s threw so much stuff up to my window belt trim. My front 2 windows are dickered to hell and back now. Nice duramax! I usually do not like that color but this one looks tasty 👍🏻

Hey bro. A guy with red Duramax on here has same issues. Can't remember his name. Video starts at a car wash. He complained of same things. Im old school and drive an escalade. Your truck is nice as hell love the color. I'd jus be devastated over the rock chips. Expensive re spray..i say no way! U can buy wheels tires daily but paint not so easy! Yea I’m in NYC and cops do not care one bit about my stance. I’ve even gotten thumbs up by a cop before, they’re really strict towards the lowered guys.

I live in Washington state, state law no straight pipe, no stance but my dad has been driving his 06 ram 2500 cummins for almost 4 years, it's also straight pipe with some stance and the cops never care about it

Legit question.... what is the functionality of stance? It’s very common here in Central Wisconsin, especially with custom offsets shop being only a hour away. Stability? Traction?

Honestly I’m at a loss, I have a similar set up as you with 37’s but I’m debating whether I should go with 12 wides or 14’s I do go mudding alot, but them 14 wides just look so good.

One thing to consider is all the money it takes to upgrade suspension in a way that it wont wear out quickly due to the large wheels and tires. But if money is no issue go for it.

My cousin lives in Alabama and he has a 6 inch lift with 22x14’s and 2 inch spacers. No fender flares though and he’s never been pulled over.

I live in NY and I have 12 wides -44 offset on my truck, I can never keep my truck clean even the smallest puddle just throws dirt all over the side of my truck then I have all the road salt during the winter and that stuff gets everywhere

I regret my -51 offset wheel , I can go to the car wash machine any more, I cant pass for many place ... I live in Chicago and now I pay 35 for cleaning my truck and always is dirty ..... also lot of chips ... I Regret big time 😕 also is hub bearings eater

Southern, central michigan, and northern lower peninsula of michigan, i have never had issues with 10 wides with 2" spacers or 12 wides with 2" spacers im runnin 14 wides as of next week and guarantee no issues still and know alot of people around here with 12 and 14 wides no issues just stupid tint laws
