How tall are you, @sweet cyclist? Quite specifically I wonder whether you can rest your head on the bench when doing incline presses, such as at 4 min 16 sec out in this video.
@@aspektn.5066 I'm 6' 1", it's long enough to do incline presses for me without an issue. Aside from the tall bench height, the length of the bench seems to be consistent with most other brands.
My Gold Gym bench broke due to a cracked weld at the backrest base. I bought this bench and have been using it for a few weeks now. Im 5'9", 185lbs and bench anywhere from 155lbs (warmup) to 240-250. I have not had any problems with this bench and would recommend it. The very first day I threw it to the sharks and benched 225 multiple times. Then inclined it for dumbbell chest presses. I have not used the decline function. I'd say the bench is solid and (according to Amazon) rated for 800lbs. Hope this helps someone

Glad the review helped. There are definitely a lot of choices on the market, but the Flybird seems to be a good value. It's a great time to get a home gym setup and save on the membership fees.
It has been pretty stable, even on incline/decline bench presses which has been nice (~300lbs total weight). My only longer-term complaint is the cheap rubber covers on the legs tend to slide off.
We purchased the red Flybird and it came in a box with an horrible odor. Even after taking it out of the box the order was horrible. It came in a box marked China. This was purchased on 4\6/22 from AMAZON This bench is really nice but the odor is very pungent, very caustic. What type of Faux leather and padding is used? IS THE PADDING polyurethane foam? It is really a sickening smell. Caused respiratory discomfort. I did return the b Flybird bench. Unfortunately, I had to send it back twice to Amazon. Both benches were delivered with the worst odor. Very caustic smell. I reached out to the Flybird Company and they ignored me. No one ever contacted me. It was the red trimmed "Fly Bird" work out bench .Now , I will have to find/research for another Fold up, adjustable weight bench. So frustrating! Do you have any suggestions? thanks!
Sorry to hear that. That's one perk of Amazon, they have no hassle returns. I'm still only using the Flybird so I don't have other suggestions, but I'd recommend getting a bench with a similar rear mechanism as the Flybird. There are lots of options on Amazon to choose from that are just rebranded versions.

Glad it could help. I'm also working on a review for the Yes4All Dumbbells so I'll try to include more footage of actually using the bench. So far, I don't have any regrets. Also the bench is a few bucks cheaper on Walmart and may arrive quicker - my Amazon order took a few weeks to arrive.
Lucas Lapierre I already got it and I’ve got nothing to complain about. It has various angles and that’s pretty helpful. I use it mainly for regular, incline and decline bench press. It does not wobble as long as you place it in a flat surface. And the set up is very easy. I am 5’8 and it seems like I’m probably too tall for some workouts that you can do while standing up.
@@KRATOS-kn7nf Nice! How long have you been using it now? Do you find an issue with the height of it when putting down weights? I am considering for primarily the same, chest press movements with dumbbells. Does the gap ever bother you?
Lucas Lapierre I’ve been using it for a little bit over a month and since I don’t have a barbell stand , I too use dumbbells when bench pressing. I haven’t had any trouble/accidents with it. Just got to be cautious and know when your muscles can’t take it no more. When I can’t handle it anymore I just slowly bring the dumbbells down to my chest, take a few breaths to relax the muscles, and then sit up with the the dumbbells at my thighs. The gap doesn’t bother me.

Yes, that was the model number printed on our box. The Walmart listing we have in the article seems to point to the "Upgo" branded version of this bench which seems identical aside from the logo. The reason I prefer this bench over the other Flybird models are the seat/backrest attachment points which have sliding designs with pins which are a lot more secure the the notched designs.
Nah . Just bought it, and want to return it, front sit way to deep and bigger is hard to bring up your dumbbells up and you have adjust your butt to get perfect position for shoulder dumbbell press and the bench way to high for person 5’7” tall , Sorry no hard feelings, just tell the true what i experience
Thanks for feedback. It's not my product, so feel free to be honest! The bench height is definitely tall compared to most benches as you mentioned. Also your issue with the seat is probably because the seat is quite long to support the decline position. The overall design is a compromise but if you don't have a lot of space it's nice having a all-in-one flat/incline/decline bench.
Nice. I see it listed for $159.99 plus free shipping which is a steal for the bench. I've been using it multiple times a week and aside from the cheap rubber caps on the legs it's held up well.

I replaced the link to the Walmart listing for the same item (even cheaper at $184.44 with free delivery). I'm 6'1" and there is plenty of space on the bench for doing flat/incline/decline presses so I don't think you'll have an issue at 6'2".

So the Flybird I have is back on Amazon again (smile.amazon.com/FLYBIRD-Adjustable-Workout-Multi-Purpose-Foldable/dp/B07DNYSJ8W/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=flybird+adjustable&qid=1596587864&s=sporting-goods&sr=1-2). Based on the photos, the attachment points are very different for the seat and backrest. If you look closely, you can see the cheaper one the backrest uses a "notch" design while the seat uses a pin. The weight capacity is also 500lbs vs 620lb for the more expensive one. For the $10 difference, I'd recommend the more expensive one since it has higher quality adjustment points.
For the most part, yes. I have this bench and I too am 6’2” tall (220 lbs.). The mode you may be unsatisfied with, is when using it for Incline bench work. When I’m using it that way, my head comes off the pad and only the base of my skull is supported. I consider my torso normal in length and this is a bit of a comfort and distraction issue for me. Otherwise, the size is fine. On that note, I thought I would be satisfied with it, but after a month of use, I’m looking for a higher quality heavier bench. It tends to wobble under me a bit with heavy loads and the pull pin could be easier to work. As soon as the bench I’m wanting is stocked, I’ll be posting this on Craigslist. In a pinch it’s great and I was attracted by the price, but for serious lifting, I need something more.
It will. The bench doesn't really have any height limits or restrictions. Note that the backrest is a full length design, so your head will be resting on the or near the top of backrest when it is in an upright position.
I'm 5'11". This bench is very high off the ground (I think 22" compared to others that are 16-18"). It just worked for me, but I was a bit uncomfortable with some exercises. I couldn't get my feet firmly on the ground for incline bench press. It's also far too big for my wife is who 5'5". We're returning the bench.
Definitely try reaching out to seller, there is a good chance you'll get a refund and get to keep the bench. I bet you could DIY the foot rest to fit with some basic tools.
