Oh No, that ,,Achy,, word again. But let's not go there. Billy Ray Cyrus. Oh Damn. It escaped ! Anyway, these Morning Chats are getting to be our regular date with you . ! Lovely. Viz a Viz the wasps... ,,Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean the wasps aren't getting personal,, Lee , you are very dry and funny. So relieved to hear about the doggies recovery. And yours ! You were heading for burnout. And we Absolutely can't have that ! And please, honestly, you don't look that much worse than you did before ! 😅 Ise kidding, obvs ❤. Take care. Try and catch up on your sleep. Loads of love to you and the doggoes. 🐶♥️♥️
Thank you for the update Lee!!! Please take care of yourself as without you…these poor animals will suffer!!! They, as well as everyone needs you, so please, please, please take care of yourself 👍🙏💕 Remember the animals, we & most importantly…God loves you 👍🙏💕
AMEN. GOD LOVES US ALL SO MUCH. AND WHATEVER WE SAY OR THINK ABOUT OURSELVES THAT NOT NICE WELL IGNORE THAT AS JESUS LOVES US SO WE MUST REMEMBER THAT. IT EASY TO LISTEN TO WHATS IN OUR HEAD ESPECIALLY IF ITS DEROGATORY.
Heavenly Father knows all. Lee. You are a blessing to the animals. Yes. It appears that you are taking care of yourself. The vacations away with 1 or two doggies is a great way to relax, get a new perspective. I know you know we all love/adore you for you and all you do. Your humor and kindness is infectious. ❤
Yes indeed, The Asher House is an incredible place and they do great Work. There are so very many good rescues. So very many people who help animals. The amount of animals in need is breathtakingly huge
What do you mean we need more people taking care of ALL THE DOGS? Are all these people going to have the funds to do this...the land...and the time where they dont have another job to go to? You are very disillusioned about reality and online reality. How about you do this....give up everything...take in money from alot of sources and get a tv contract and sell pet supplies online. Im so tired of people not having a single idea about reality. I work in dog rescue and taking in one sick dog can put you in bankrupcy. Personally I am now able to afford vet visits because I go to a vet in Mexico. I have a dozen dogs among other animals which total about fifty and work a full time job and am 60 yrs old. Your perception of reality shows you no nothing about dog rescue.
Allison, well said and you are absolutely right about that. He is stunningly beautiful inside and out and that gentle soul couldn't be any more gentle. He is an ANGEL put here to protect those beautiful fur babies and to show them what true love is. Much love from Virginia.
Lee, I lost my beautiful dad and 2 of my dear aunts in the past 18 months. It is emotionally and mentally draining, as well as the physical issues of not sleeping, etc. Give yourself grace and take the time to heal from all you have been going through. My 5 rescue dogs truly make me smile and they are pulling me through. Look for the joy each day and best wishes to all of you! Thanks for all you do!!
Your transparency, whether you’re looking exhausted or exhilarated is what makes you so beautiful. We love hearing about anything you want to talk about. Just keep doing what you’re doing.
We only say you look tired or stressed because we want you to know we "see" you and feel empathy for what you have gone through recently. You are so important to the animal rescue world, to your pack, and to us also. You are in my prayers always. Bless you!
Even the biggest heart can break, even the healthiest soul can break and even the fittest of bodies can break. So glad to hear that things are looking up, Lee Asher. Wishing you and your team and all the animals good health and all the very best🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
I’m so happy to see you’re smiling and relaxing. What a very sad and stressful time you’ve been through. I wish you and your pups health and happiness!!
Such a relief that the worst has past. Roo will be remembered with lots of love. I know you’re feeling the stress of the recent past and I hope you’re able to rest and relax. As always, love to you all.❤
Thank you for the update Lee! You and your children and your followers are one big family. God has given you an incredible gift and He has also given it to us through you!
As a nurse, sounds like you had your own little pandemic. URI/PNEUMONIA is so contagious and fast ! Infection control Cleanliness and hand hygiene is huge. As a nurse I don't do self-care either but I'm working on it to You're amazing take care of you and were so grateful for you
Wonderful to hear that the dogs are feeling better. I hope that all of the humans who work so hard at the Asher House are able to recharge and take care of themselves as well as the beautiful animals at the sanctuary.
Dear Lee and everyone else who like me too does not put yourself first, remember why the flight attendants say put your oxygen mask first and then help others. If you can’t breathe you can’t help others breathe. We love you, the babies you care for and all the good that you teach by example ❤❤❤❤
I am so Thankful that the pack is recovering. I share the sorrow of the loss of sweet Roo and Thank God that Shelby, Lady, CC are all getting better!! ohhh my 9 new rescues!! yay!!!! I look forwards to meeting them! Bless You !
Thank you for the update and the great reminder.. there is a lot of suffering. And we have to be the light. Kind. The generous ... it's hard right now. . Thanks to all of you at Asher House for being the kind and generous ones. 😊
So pleased Lee that yourself + the team can bit by bit start to recover from the stress and strain of recent weeks. With regards to the Yellow Jacket problem, you may find this useful:- At this time of year male Wasps are being kicked out of the nests as there's no need for them any longer - the nest is nearing its end with just the new Queen going off to mate and then hibernate. The male Wasps are starving once out of the nest, which is why they get grouchy and start bothering anyone sat outside drinking sugary drinks. They want that sugar. In the nest they feed on sweet secretions the developing wasp larvae produce, and suddenly they don't have it anymore. Wherever you're getting bothered by the Wasps most, leave out several saucers of lemonade or slices of fruit for them to feed on. It will divert them away from you. The males don't live long now. The lucky ones will mate with a new Queen from a different nest, but all the males die off within a few weeks. I hope you don't mind me giving this info, just thought it may help. Take care Lee and team ❤❤
Lee,never loose your sense of humor,I smile every time you so subtly bring humor to your message! And of course the adorable pups make it impossible not to smile .May God blessyou many times over for the smiles you bring to so many!🐾🙏💛
Pneumonia makes its way through nursing homes like a wild fire. I'm sure many of the dogs, even dogs that aren't older, have extra super duper vulnerabilities . Thank you for the update, cannot wait to meet the new pups.
Lee thank you so much for this amazing uplifting update on the pack, the new rescues and so importantly yourself. Take care. Your pack needs you. I need you. The world needs kazillions like you. I have no dogs. I have always been a cat person. I dearly love my 2 kitties Angel and Maven. They are rescues and I am so so fortunate in having them. Love from the 3 of us. PJ ❤️😻😻
I watch all your posts and just think you are the most amazing human being for all the hard work you do rescuing all those beautiful dogs and giving them hope for a better life
Of course you would be tired due to your babies are sick, its just like any parent would be with their babies. You are doing a GREAT job Lee!!!!!! Sending you HUGE HUGS. Stay strong. Some times yellow jackets can be in ground too along in trees. Hugs to all the babies. Yes my pets are my babies.
Lee, your honesty and authenticity comes through loud and clear and there needs to be more people who can be so honest. I was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer in June and am having to adjust to that and it isn't an easy thing to do. I have finally accepted it since there is absolutely NOTHING I can do to change it. I have put it all into God's hands and what his decision is is what I will go with. I am 77 and have lived a pretty full life. I thank God for you every night and for what you do for all of those furry babies. You are an absolute Angel from above for them. When you can get the time please take some time to refresh, renew , reenergize. You are so loved by one and all. God bless, stay safe and much love from Virginia.
Thanks so much for your Beautiful Words and Comment Patricia - you will be in my loving thoughts and prayers - May The Lord Be With You during this time please know you are Loved and Cared About ❤
Loads you can do to change it❤ Look into cannabis & fast / go vegan to allow your body to heal I know many who have healed themselves Sending courage strength and perseverance!!
I am praying for you Patricia x I think we who love the Lord are all going home very soon x I am praying that you are not in pain and that each day is a blessing for you and to others through you x Jesus love you so much x
Thank you Lee, I am truly grateful for you, your staff and all you do for those beautiful animals and reaching out to your viewers, lifting and feeding our hearts with wise words and positivity. What our world definitely needs more of 💗
Dogs are the best medicine you can have just chill with the pups and they will recharge you battery too. Thank you Lee for all you do to make the world a kinder place with the love you give.
SO thrilled to learn you're all on the mend!! That your immediate attention to a medical emergency, by being so amazingly in tune with so many dogs, brought you to the current healthy state you're all in. Truly an amazing feat of crisis management! Call me crazy, but you look pretty good to me! ( this coming from a 73 year old, so consider the source!😂). Thank you for the reminder to remain grateful in the midst of such suffering and hatred we currently find in the world. I live in an often impossibly toxic environment, NYC, and I have to remind myself, a lot, how to be grateful. Wishing all of you continued health and peace. RIP, Roo.
Thank you for the light you shine on the world. You are such a blessing. So happy to hear the dogs are feeling better. Thank you for your lesson about self love. sending you so much light and love 🐾😘
Sir Lee, a big air hug to you, from all of us, for your calming words. And we are all so, so sorry that you lost Rue. We know that loving & taking care of your children is an arduous labor of love that you & your team do with a full heart every day.
If everyone took this video to heart, the world would be such a better place. Unless you've been there, you don't know how much worse it is for others. Momma always said, "Don't judge until you've walked in someone else's shoes!". I totally believe that, and try to not make comments that prove how ignorant I am. Also, I hope no one is going to judge me for my little "senior moments". God Bless you all.
Man, life gets very lifey sometimes. I love that about writing down when I say negative things about myself. I grew up in a home where that was a thing; self-deprecation. Been working on that for awhile and it’s a lot better. Yes, I know about all the suffering out there and I am grateful and blessed every day. My first morning words are. “Thank you for another day.” And, I pray to be of service to the world. Thank you, Lee. Love you and everything you do.
I'm so happy you and the dogs are better. Thank you for always being so open and honest. Never be afraid of asking for help. We will always support you! ❤🐕🐈
Lee, you always inspire me! I also have to check myself when the voice in my head starts saying bad things about me!!! I am a kind and compassionate person. A card carrying hug giver😊. One day at a time. At 74yrs old, it can be overwhelming. I’m so happy to hear the dogs are improving👏👏👏. Looking forward to hearing about your new dogs. We all support you and your staff. Whooshing you love and positive energy🐾✌️❤️🙏🐾
Good morning, grateful as always for the updates and that everyone is doing well. You have to take care of yourself to take care of your precious animals.
Thank you very much for the pupdate Lee. You are a truly amazing and beautiful person, who is genuine and everything you say comes from the heart. As for your mental health, please take time for yourself too. As a sufferer of depression myself, I know how nasty it is. So don't be hard on yourself. You're a real example of compassion and love. Please give the dogs and other animals a cuddle from me and my buddy boy Zeus.
Break dancing with the wasps?! I hope you're feeling 100% soon. You have a huge job rescuing and caring for so many. Your community loves and supports you and we appreciate you sharing your life with us. Much respect! ❤🙏✌️
You fight an endless battle. I don’t know how you do it. You have a heart of gold and you’re a beautiful person. What you do is amazing. Meanwhile I dig the greys if it helps 🙌🏻😉💙
Lee you've been amazing through this challenging time, I know you aren't looking for compliments, but I'm giving you one anyway, lol. We thank you for all you do, now get some rest whenever you can so you can recharge.
I love you so much Lee! I also love everyone at The Asher House and especially all of the animals. Thank you for sharing with us. BUT ESPECIALLY, thank you for reminding us of the suffering in this world and how fortunate I am to be where I am with the life I have. Thank you. Bless you and yours 💝🌈💖💗🌷❤️
I laughed out loud at the shopping for jackets and break dancing comments😂 I am glad to hear everything seems to be improving and you still have a sense of humour being so tired and experiencing the ordeal of the pneumonia situation. All the best!
Thank you for all the updates. I can't get on with my day without knowing you and all the dogs are OK. It's NOT unfortunate that you feel the way you do! The suffering is crazy in this world, and we all need to step up and just be KIND!! Kind to yourself and to others. You are such a blessing to all of us who are now a part of your family. I absolutely love each and every one of your fur animals. I know that I learn something new every time watching your show. I have 2 pugs, one is a rescue. He was abused as a baby, and it took years before he felt safe around young men. He is now 12 yrs old and slowing down. Both my pugs are 12 and I see the change from being old. I can't even imagine my life without them! Sorry, I really got off track, LOL. Lee, thank you again for being you!! Much Love and a Load of Blessings!!!
There are power in words. I’m guilty of speaking poorly about myself and trying to get better at it. Thanks for what you do and taking care of the dogs
Thank you Lee, for the updates! I am so happy the Lillie, CeCe and Shelby are doing so much better; as well as beautiful Lady! You have been through so much, losing Roo, the pneumonia! You are exhausted because of how much you love all of your precious babies! Take care of you, rest more, relax more. All will be well, all will be well, all manner of things will be well! Know that and that you are loved and so are your precious babies! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you, Lee for all updates! Yes! You should take a nice break after all these issues are over! You deserve a little rest! Come back refreshed!!!👍🙏👏
Great message, Lee. The trap of focusing on our own suffering is that it blinds us to with those around us who are suffering as well. I can't ease my own suffering by focusing on it but I can lift those around me through compassion and kindness. If we seek to do that, we all benefit despite the darkness we see and feel around us. Compassion can be our greatest and most powerful strength if we allow it.
Hallo Lee Asher, als erstes möchte ich sagen, was für eine unglaubliche Arbeit du leistest. Was für eine Freude du mit deinen Tieren hast. Du bist spontan, herzlich, so eine Liebe zu deinen Tieren. Du sagst, was du denkst. Das ist normal, wenn man müde ist, wenn man viel Arbeit mit kranken Hunden hat und sich Sorgen macht. Man soll dich motivieren und nicht sagen, wie müde du aussiehst. Mein vollster Respekt
Love you, Lee! Your compassion for animals and people is a shining example to us all. Hope now things have settled down you and your team can stop and smell the coffee and recharge those batteries ❤
Great news on the dogs situation. Always emotionally and physically draining when stressed and worried especially over our pets. The best help is laughter so keep smiling! 🙏💖🌟😁
Take care Lee ! and as I told you before, I hope you will cross paths with another little princess to save like Pom Poms and Maeve were. Through all the difficulties you are going through, it was enough that you see their little cute faces for you to smile and that's also what you need, a little princess who makes you smile when you see her... I wish you the best !
GOD BLESS YOU LEE AND EVERYONE AT THE ASHER HOUSE thank goodness all the dogs have improved you all must be so happy, hope you all can rest and relax even for 10 minuets love to you Lee big hugs only good things to happen from now on love to everyone xxx
Lee, you and your team do amazing things with all the animals and love what you are doing. As a gentle reminder, if you're not being nice to yourself (aka self hatred) it sometimes comes from unforgiveness towards ourselves... Take time to forgive 'you' for any past choices you hold against yourself. And remember, ultimately God is responsible for life and death. 🐾😘 Keeping you and all the pack in my prayers.
Thank you Lee for everything you do. You're a blessing to these sweet babies and to those of us that watch your videos because we know you're providing love & care for these precious fur babies.
GOD BLESS YOU LEE AND YOUR TEAM FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO IN HELPING ALL YOUR ANIMALS EACH AND EVERYDAY - PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF - TAKE A WELCOME BREAK LEE - YOU'RE A LOVING AND CARING HUMAN BEING WHO IS LOVED VERY MUCH
Lee, thank you for reminding everyone to be grateful and to share their blessings. Be more compassionate because it is a circular system. We get what we give and if we want to continue to receive blessings or good fortunes we must pass it on. I’d send you a soul emoji but a heart will have to do❤️🐾
Great to hear the doggos are doing well and are better, thank you so much to you and your team at the Asher House for all you do to keep the animals safe, loved and cared for. Blessings to you all💞🙌🙏
Good morning! We appreciate the update on the dogs and YOU! Thank you for your words. Thank you for sharing your authentic rambles and your message about compassion for others. I hope you manifest some time to rest and self care soon. Sending love!❤🙏
You're amazing, Lee....We support you and the Asher House...Keep yourself well, so the animals can continue to grow stronger, healthier, and happier..😁😊😇❤❤❤
I'm so glad that everyone is getting back on their feet!! I think you should find yourself a beach and relax, enjoy the sunrises and sunsets!! May the universe give us peace!! Love you too, always!!💗💗💗
I think it's fair to say we all love you and your dog's my heart breaks for Roo I am sincerely glad the rest of your dog's are are better God bless you Lee Asher and all the dog's and other animals ♥️🐾🙏🐾♥️
Lee, your are the most amazing, compassionate, caring, authentic and handsome man. Thank you so much for the update on the dogs, the pneumonia situation and yourself. I was heartbroken to hear about Roo. I actually had a dream about her, the night before she passed. Self care is so important for your body and mental health. I have allot of experience in this area that I would love to share with you. Also, I am in love with Little Bear. Please keep up your beautiful energy and positivity, now that things have settled down. Your videos are wonderful and what you are doing for these dogs is incredible and inspiring. ❤😊
Hi Lee, so kind of you to share your emotions. I find myself living through you. I have always been able to take excellent care of my God-given animals. I tried to remember each sweety's name. I was able to recall 12. Spent some time in memory lane. Such a sweet time. The funny, fun times. How we cared for each other. The special personalities. You mentioned one time how we will see them later in Heaven. HOLD on to your socks!!! On Sep 11, I will be 81😂 Lee the time goes by so fast. Such a blessed life. You have a history with our Creator. It is like turning a page in your book. Your stories mean a lot to me and all your family. The Story of your Dad's visit just keeps me entertained and laughing. Don't ever take it down. If you happened to find a Cocker Spaniel that is mature like me send a little note. ❤ Such a beautiful reminder of our suffering world. It amazes me how people can show zero empathy. Sometimes no sympathy. You find some time to read your book. It will make you so pleased to be just you. Someone you like and care for. Thank you for your place in my thoughts and heart. Gina
Thank you so much for letting us know the dogs are doing better! So happy to hear that! 🤗💖 Please be vigilant about the yellow jackets. They are indeed nasty. I battle them every year, and they're so aggressive. It's best to see a new nest under construction so you can eliminate it quickly. Sometimes they go unnoticed until they're very large. Well then you have to go out late at night with a flashlight and about four or five cans of wasp killer. It's a whole big production. 🐝🔦😉☺️ Wishing all of you at Asher House many blessings! ✝️🙏🤍🌻
@@susiepoadster4642 Pennsylvania. Oh my gosh. I just came in from spraying a bunch of them. I can't see the nest because it's inside one of the stone pillars around my patio. The sun was going down so I thought they'd be less active. Wrong! They don't know it but, I'll be back! 😉😄☠️🐝
Lee, Thank you so much for the amazing work you do. Every day I read about animals who have been mistreated or dumped and it breaks my heart. The callousness of humanity is mind boggling...I truly never thought I would see live to see the degradation of our society on such a massive scale. Again, my sweet girls (two beautiful poodles) and I thank you for everything you do for these helpless creatures.
Introspective is always a good path to get better. Confidence is what you have already, it comes across as kindness and compassion. We, your family/fans, see this so clearly. All of your children that have moved on came into your life to teach you to become more human. Fill your heart with laughter for them. They are joyous and young. Tears of joy you can shed because you have done the best you can 🐶
I have to say, you're the only person I've ever met that i relate to so much! You love your dogs like i do, and you live my dream! I'm autistic, and tbh is nice to see someone who is so successful with rescues on social media being authentic! Be kind to yourself, and keep loving your babies!
Lee, you are a God sent to these dogs. You are a beautiful soul and take excellent care of these dogs. I am delighted to hear your dogs are on the road to recovery. Thank God this was not a rare pneumonia and this respiratory illness was taken care of by your veterinarian and the Oregon state veterinarian were on board to resolve this health crisis in an expeditious manner. In a few more weeks, your sanctuary will be back to normal and you will be doing more videos and introducing the new dogs to the pack. May God continue to bless you and get some much needed rest. You deserve to pamper yourself. You should not feel guilty about giving yourself self-care. Caring for your fur babies is exhausting. I hope you can catch up on your sleep. Continue to stay optimistic about your future. I understand about elevated cortisol levels. You need to decompress and reduce your stress levels. You need a vacation . Think about sitting on a beach and just listening to the ocean will do you a world of good. You make this world a better place and may GOD bless you. Take care! Love & Light❤🕊❤🕊❤🕊❤🕊❤🕊❤🕊❤🕊
I'm not a dog but I had bacterial pneumonia and with in 12 hours of first symptoms I was hospitalized. A week later as I was leaving the hospital my nurses told me they didn't think I was going to make it. So I can only imagine how awful this was for your pups im glad they are better and I'm sending love and light for sweet Roo who is waiting just over the bridge till you can meet again.
