Yeah, i pretty much live in there. Other games are 1 and done but i always return to Horizon. The gameplay variations are too addictive, multiple different builds and ways to utilize weapons gives a huge replayability, plus it's gorgeous to relax flying on a Sunwing and witnessing the dawn.
Haha, I totally get that! The gameplay variety really is nice - experimenting with different builds never gets old. And yes, flying on the Sunwing at dawn: that’s epic. I always used the headphones to feel better the sounds and wind and all.
Absolutely gorgeous tribute! Both Horizon games have a special place in my heart for being such incredibly unique, engaging, and stunning games with breathtaking environments and some of the most complex and compelling stories/worldbuilding I've ever experienced in a video game before. It's a game I can always come back to and find something new to fall in love with. I also really liked the music choice for this video. Overall, you did a great job!! Thank you for this
Thank you so much! I'm very glad to hear! :) Yes for me too, i was so invested in Forbidden West for a many of months, and it was so epic and awe -game. I just wouldn't want it to stop 😂
Haha, I feel your pain! 😄 Well, once you start and get into the game, there's no turning back-! -- you might just have to accidentally leave the controller in her hands one day (with HFW open) and then see what happens 😉
Unpopular opinion but the game is actually pretty mediocre. I do think it's cool that you get the dlc and the main game for 60€ on steam but that's about it. Tons of glitches underwhelming melee combat and every side quest is basically the same (go to this location fight some smaller machines go to this other location and fight one big machine and you're done). It's also way to easy even on ultra hard but apparently graphics are enough these days to make people think that a game is "good".
I totally get where you're coming from - everyone has their own take on what makes a game great or just okay. It's true that Horizon Forbidden West isn't perfect; for example some players do find the melee combat a bit monotonous and bad against humans (me too!). As for the difficulty, it's interesting to hear that you found it too easy even on ultra hard - I didn't even want to try it because I thought I would die immediately! Haha. I guess it comes down to what you value most in a game-be it story, mechanics, graphics, or overall immersion. I wouldn't say graphics make a game "good" - no, mostly it's the story and emotions that the games gives to you that makes a game "good". I come from playing games in the 90s, so I don't value graphics as much. It's always cool to hear different perspectives, and thanks for sharing yours! At the end of the day, it's all about finding the games that resonate with you personally.
@@johez Thats actually a really good way to say it. The game really isn't bad (like at all) so maybe my expectations were just too high. Even with all the shortcomings this game has i still had a fun time playing it.
A mí me encanta el juego sin embargo muchas veces me encontré con ataques enemigos que no debían de ser por las dinámicas de sigilo que el mismo juego te invita a jugar
Translated to english (with ChatGPT): "I love the game, but many times I encountered enemy attacks that shouldn't have happened considering the stealth dynamics that the game itself encourages you to play with."
