I’ve worked on McDonald’s and we cleaned the kitchen up every two hours or sometimes even more often. And every night we deep cleaned the whole thing. We cleaned the grills and everything from behind the grill. Everything is on wheels so when the night comes, we moved everything from their place and cleaned underneath. Seeing a restaurant as dirty as this makes me sick. You absolutely can keep a restaurant clean no matter how busy it is. There’s no excuse.

Peter asking Gordon for a hug after that pep talk really resonated. He said he was put down and never got praise from his father etc. and it really drives it home that he needed that kind of simple support in order for his inner potential to shine.
