@firingallcylinders2949
@firingallcylinders2949 2 года назад
@@Terror832 The run game is no longer a staple it's an accessory. Most NFL teams are pass first now. The Fullback doesn't even exist anymore. Even O linemen are expected to be running down the field on screens and draws.
@WhoopityDoo
@WhoopityDoo 2 года назад
@@AirEmOut Nobody is a "feared hitter" any longer because most of those hits draw penalties. The NFL is scared to death of the ramifications of CTE (future lawsuits that would probably bankrupt them, considering what they knew about it even 15 years ago) and has changed the rulebook over the years to reflect that. On top of that, most of these so called "feared hitters" you're referring to were usually just pieces of shat that constantly took cheap shots to the head, including the subject of this video.
@AirEmOut
@AirEmOut 2 года назад
@@WhoopityDoo I understand the first paragraph and totally disagree with the second paragraph. Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Ray Lewis even James Harrison weren't pieces of crap they just played the game violent as it was probably coached to them. They played the game how it was played back then.

This is a man that always stayed unapologetically true to himself and never wavered from that vision. He knew he was still able to produce at that high level even when the Steelers gave up on him yet again, and they were the ones that had asked him to come out of his happy retirement. He goes to the Patriots and almost wins a third super bowl ring with them. His balance, functional core strength, leverage and tactical hand warfare were unmatched. The way he walks his life makes him a giant among men.

One of the most underrated defensive players ever! Responsible for arguably the greatest play in SB history. Was held on like every play lol. Amazing story, amazing player, Cowher is right he's a throw back player, loved watching him play.

Damn. I never had a problem with him, always liked him as a player, but what a guy this dude is! Inspiring, imo the perfect blend of honesty, attitude (bad and good lol), and love for his friends and family. I definitely look up to him as a man now.

The Steel City is my home. JAMES HARRISON was a beast and that interception return for a TD in the Superbowl was one of the best SB plays of all time.

As a Raiders fan living in NW Pennsylvania hating the Steelers but loved watching 92 do his thing on the field for many years. He is what defines defense football. Thank you for the entertainment JH

I'm a Giants fan, but I enjoyed every snap that I could catch. I watched every Steelers game that I could while Harrison played. I absolutely had a blast, especially since they are in the AFC!

They should consider the fact that this man was overlooked until he was 29 years old when considering HOF induction.

being a fan was a little bit of a roller coaster and all I wanted was for him to come back. This series captured an unlikely story and his attitude pretty well. It's crazy he was 39 when he retired and playing that physical of a position. He carried the legacy of a Steelers linebacker well.

Does anyone remember the game when he got 3 out of 4 holding calls. Or 4 out of 7, but got two sacks and 2 pressures consecutively? Then they just gameplanned away from him the rest of the game?

dudes a monster. one of my favorite players. Its why I love the Pittsburgh Baltimore rivalry so much - so many great defensive players on both sides. just makes it a great game to watch every year - three times if we are lucky enough to meet in the playoffs..

As they said he breaks the mold, as a Kansas City chiefs fan, plenty and out most respect. Didn’t like how he single handedly did to us in a few games but no one did it like Deebo. Lol. This definitely gave a different perspective of him. But he was the best that played his possession. Thanks James, you made nfl fun to watch , and every time steeler play KC , all I get say is ,oh boy.
