Over a dozen or so games, the shark had a slight edge at our table. Channel Matriarch Maria now has our copy, so I don't know who's winning more at this point.

I actually really like this one at 2. One player plays the shark, and the other takes all *three* crew. Since the crew are a team, at higher player counts you just divide them up, so you're essentially playing 2p anyway.

You can absolutely play two players, and in fact, when you're playing at 3-4, you just have more people playing the crew. You're still controlling Hooper, Quint, and Brody no matter how many players there are.

@@GLHFBoardGames I do not think race baiting is an appropriate description. Only that you cannot fault the manufacturer for lack of diversity in a game that is loyal to the source material, which was already devoid of diversity. It shouldn't be used as a criticism, but I personally didn't think it came across that way, only an observation. Great review

@@GLHFBoardGames Bringing up race in this context at all is an avoidable form of inciting political controversy. Why should a game like JAWS include characters apart from those in the movie? Why does your comment imply that the race or sex of characters in a game is an issue at all? Obviously in order to convey a set of beliefs you cherish and add to your review like any religious group would. And don't get me wrong - you are absolutely free to do that. But I'm free to share my feelings about such divisive messages as well. So thank you for responding to my criticism.

@@GLHFBoardGames no, they're right. You said a dumb thing. Not dumb enough to deserve a pig pile, but dumb none the less. Are females or people of color not allowed to enjoy playing as their favorite characters from the movie? I'm actually watching this video with the woman I bought the game for. I won't repeat the comment she made when you made this observation, but she definitely felt you missed the mark. Rethink your ideas of inclusion, and consider that your comment and observation rings more exclusionary than the lack of diverse representation. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go fight with her over who gets to play as Quint, her favorite.
