To think that nothing's going on other than N.O. and B.R is to have no idea why Louisiana's been the "Murder Capital" of the nation's states for the last 32 years in a row.
Man that guy went too young, way too talented, I grew on his music through my sisters, it kinda angered me when I heard he was deceased. Hope his family hold their head high and continue to maintain in life, dude was on his way to the top and would've been one of the best in the game!
Thanks 😊swap storiez😊 Appreciate your breakdown of Louisiana rappers and the geographic locations Av Louisiana love the details keep up the good work😘 You are OnPoint I am from West Monroe Louisiana and believe me those little small cities have a Lotta heavy hitters they don’t play🤬when it comes to the streets🧐
@@dbradley3519 I think he going by population and size. Louisiana only got 2 cities above 200k people, which is small itself. For example California has 23 cities with at least 200k people.
Actually once you cross the Pontchartrain bridge, that long bridge, you come across Mandeville & Covington where rich folks be. Bogalusa is 20, 25 mins past those towns.
That's everywhere, but y'all Louisiananimals don't play and that's coming from a Mississippi Nigga I got a few Lil Cousins from N.O., B.R. and Slidell and one of em his doing time in Georgia for a body
THE COMMENTARY THE VISUALS THE RESEARCH IS ALLLLL ON POINT.... THE FACT THAT THEY GO AS FAR AS TRAVELING TO THE ACTUAL CITIES AND PRESENT WHATT THE DEMOGRAPHICS AND LOCATIONS ARE GIVES THE AUDIENCE A MUCH MORE CLEAR IDEA OF HOW THINGS ARE IN EACH CITY... JUST EARNED MY SUBSCRIPTION💯
Too concerned with being first and letting shit get by his research. I started googling his dad to make sure something didn’t happen that I didn’t hear about.
I lived in Amite for a little bit and my sister goes Southeastern in Hammond. I knew these little towns were starting to turn up but it's kinda crazy being how small they are. This ish is sad
Im from Cali my boyfriend from Louisiana I lived in Hammond,Covington uneedus,Ponchatoula it's done got bad now especially Hammond an bogalusa shit man rip Jay Youngin
It's a sad because we see this time and time again and in the end who wins? A young talented life taken for situations usually petty and not even worth a fist fight, yet it leads to death incarceration and communities at odds over beef that isn't theirs to begin with we gotta fix us
@@Uncleric6000 did you ever notice that we're the only race of people who defines itself by its lowest common denominator in the society? Most Black Americans DO NOT COMMIT CRIME so ain't no WE gotta do better...naw THEY gotta do better.
@@urbansurvivalnetwork For real tho. At this point, in my opinion, remaining ignorant, uneducated, staying in the hood/drama is a choice. Especially if they've "hit it big". The police got $90k from his mother's house. That couldn't have removed him from that situation? No right because their cars and images are more important. Nobody owes the "streets" a MF thing but folks are so infatuated with it. Dumb weird sh!t!
I lived 2 hours east of Bogalusa in Columbia Mississippi. Sometimes the smell of that town stretched for miles. Also check out Jackson and Hattiesburg MS.
Okay I’m from Louisiana and some this information isn’t accurate. The “north shore” is the richer part of town not “trailer parks” and Hammond is not a “country town” it’s a huge college city, idk about all the info about the guys but the geology itself is wrong and kinda offensive 💀
Facts. I'm from Bogalusa and trailer parks is something we DONT have.. call it ghetto but not trailer park.. and Walmart isn't the biggest employer, the PAPER MILL is.. we are called the Lumberjacks for a REASON.. Jay's daddy didn't die either.. he put the name up like he died too.. it's just misleading bc this dude puts this out like it has something to do wit Jay's death and none of it did..
Slidell & Covington, being the "Northshore" both cities blew up after Katrina bc New Orleans natives moved here if they had the money.. the populations doubled in months.. they prolly have the most money per capita out of the state.. dude should have tapped in to do his video.. this is offensive..
Not that I'm disagreeing with you but I live in a college city that is also a country town it used to be called Martinsville city and Henry County now it's all just a big county so the terms aren't mutually exclusive
@@businessbuilder92 true.. but Hammond isn't a country city.. maybe the surrounding cities but not Hammond.. he did us dirty the whole video.. lies after lies after lies.. it's disrespectful..
Just to point out something this dude said... it's a lot of undiscovered talented people in cities no one ever heard of. Not jus in music. This is a time that talented ppl can fund themselves & put they talent out there on their. We no longer need big companies. Just like these house are making money documenting what goes on in the streets. A life that they know nothing about. You too can find your "niche" in life & live your truth😁
The causeway isn't the only way to the Northshore, and it takes 30 mins to cross. You can go from New Orleans east to the Northshore in under 10 mins via the Twin Span bridge.
I think they where just saying it’s not the only way ya know.. cause Slidell is considered north shore also. That’s what he said in this video. One way to get to the north shore .. which isn’t true. Js
No disrespect to the dead but the way he does the Rip effects is funny asf 🤣. That ying yang twin whisperer "Bam" wit the smoke gets me everytime lmaoo
Small towns are rough too. I'm from Henderson, NC and it's always top 2 of worst places in NC along with Lumberton, NC which is small as well. My hometown was also considered the heroin capital of NC when it came down to drug sales and smuggling. It's a serious problem that's been going on for decades in my hometown.
This is the saddest shit ever rap is literally waterer down like how rap ruin a small town like that these kids need more opportunities and a different mindset this is not normal
Rap been doing this. It ain't happen over night. Everything we doing now is what we saw the generation before us do. Rap been about beef, money, and money since the 80s man.
@@TrizzleTV Definitely on this level. Only difference is we got social media now so it's a spot light on any and everything people do especially celebrities
@@BigTrevo dawg rappers never died at this rate in hip hop history lol the internet made it more accessible for everyday street niggas to get in the game. Talent ain’t it anymore. When Pac & Biggie died the world stopped for a while now that shit normal for a rapper to get murked smh Imma historian with this shit & this is the most violent hip hop ever been. 💯
Nah it wasn't no backdoor how many ppl in that small town gotta blue corvette like his? especially still in the ghetto on a main street he made it too easy he supposed to be in a big house in the suburbs gated community or something fenced in with camers an dogs with all that money and house arrest is public record too...RiP
It goes down in almost every city.. little or big that got hoods that don’t play. You should get info from locals before talking about what some article says.
The problem is that if you talk to the people involved your basically just going to hear different peoples opinions or different peoples versions of the story especially when your covering things that happened recently
they only feel like he spoke death on his self cause of his lyrics nah fham its called being in the streets bruh its alot of rappers that be talkin bout death & bodies but they not really in the streets im from Louisiana so i kno bruh should’ve moved when he had the chance its so small down there & yu gotta remember everybody cant go to the top with yu that brangs envy bruhh why yall think so many rappers die from Louisiana because nobody wanna come together and put ppl on we could’ve took the rap game on some Atlanta shit no doubt about it
Dang, July 27th is my cake day. So, sad for him and his family due to poor choices. Don't forget hiw hurt your family will be after you decide to make poor choices. Be Wise. You are supposed to be Kings 🤴🏿 And you are! Don't forget it 💯💪🏿❤️ You can make it! Our Black youth are watching you, make it count.
To be fair, the whole state is dangerous, even in all the little country towns. Shreveport been the "Ratchet City" since forever, Boosie and Lava House put that on the map. Monroe, Laffy, Alexandria and Lake Charles all pretty bad crime stats for their size, and they all have little country towns around them where the crime bleeds out into. It's sad honestly, small state and a lot of folks are kin to each other and to people all over the state.
It never used to be like that. Growing up everybody knew everybody or Atleast someone your kin to. And we didn’t have as much crime back then. Now this new generation is out of control.
@@tcbroussard9562 I know. The whole state is like a giant city in a way with it being so small and people having family all over. I guess social media amplified a lot of the street stuff. I just wish we had better leaders on the state level that hadn't driven businesses out of the state over the last few decades, and would attract new businesses/jobs back to the state to give more people opportunities. Not to justify the street stuff, but La is in bad shape all over.
If you not working in a plant or have some type of job in the health field louisiana is a trap. I went there to go to SU in 09 graduated in 14. I became a man in louisiana and thank god for a good job. But if you not out here being something with your life the boot will take you under on soul
I lived in Bogalusa for 21 years before moving back home (ny) . It goes down in Bogalusa don't let the woods fool ya. My condolences to this young man's family.
