speaker toni try and record in a more lower position , facing the speakers , this way you will capture more low end .. (do some testing , im curious ) otherwise , the mids and highs are very sharp and clear , great purchase i would say..
nice review very convincing after seeing this i bought a flip 4 for myself it's true that it somehow lack on bass when volume is high but the sound clarity is there,, i'll just have to wait for the jbl bass pro go to sync them together,,, thanks speaker toni..
the flip is great for personal listening maybe not completely cranked up and some nice Jazz and pop / rock Songs if you want edm get the charge 3 ... or charge4 maybe... should get out soon aswell... ^^
Hi Speaker Toni, i like very much this new jbl approach and i'm very very tempted to buy a flip 4 too. But it seems like trebles goes on distortion from 50% of the volume. Is that real or only a microphone effect? How does it sound "live" to your ears?
Speaker Toni I mostly use my Apple earpods. Other video's on your desk sounded more bassy, in this video I didn't hear the big difference in bass from the Flip 3 and Flip 4, but there is in real. But don't worry, I love your video's, I'm a big fan! ;)
Unglaublich was Jbl da geschafft hat. Ich finde die flip 4 ist nahezu perfekt. In jeder hinsicht besser als die alte version und meiner Meinung nach der beste lautsprecher in der 100-120€ klasse. Sehr professionelles Video übrigends,dein neues Mikro ist signifikant besser als das alte. Die aufnahmen hören sich nahezu echt an :)
Desert Rose Stimme dir voll und ganz zu! Der Flip ist schon fast zu gut, bin gespannt was für ein beast der Charge 4 wird. Schön, dass dir und allen anderen die Aufnahmen so gut gefallen:) hat sich also doch ausgezahlt...
Can somebody PLEASE plug in an ELECTRIC GUITAR into the AUX of this speaker...and tell me if there's any LAG (due to a-d conversion) at all. in my experience the mi speaker lagged badly..while the jbl micro wireless and the oontz angle/plus never did. I want to get a more "serious" speaker for listening and as an addition to my PORTABLE RIG...thanks a ton.
Vasili Zhou no it's some kind of plexiglass. How is that thing supposed to be an outdoor speaker if there are glass parts on it? And glass also is very bad for the sound or have ever seen a glass speaker?
This part is only something about cosmetic for industry design, in the past, JBL use Aluminum, but now, may be they think glass is more beautiful. If some day you don't want keep Flip IV anymore, you can try to destroy the passive radiator, you will find it's glass. (I had do this...) From acoustic side, the glass part is only about the weight, acoustic engineer need to define the wight of Passive Radiator, because it will impact on tuning frequency(Fb). Once Fb had been defined, the bass performance won't impact by material.
Speaker Toni hello I can confirm it is made of glass. I took one apart and on the edge, it shows it is glass. Also I smashed it to confirm it and it shattered. Glass. Plexiglass scratches too easily for outdoor use anyway. And there is also metal weights Under the glass to act as a weight. The sound waves are not directly touching glass. It is bouncing off metal. You can see for yourself.
_Anonymus_ tra il flip 3 e il 4 sicuramente il nuovo ha più bassi,ma tra il flip e il charge,il charge 3 ha molti più bassi,io lo ho e ti posso dire che in luoghi chiusi i bassi si fanno sentire,inoltre ad oggi il charge 3 si trova a poco più di 100€ ed è un grande affare
_Anonymus_ la scelta tra xtreme e charge 3 dipende dall'uso che ne fai,se una delle due la useresti anche in giro allora il charge 3 è molto più trasportabile,però se la usi solo in casa o la porti poco in giro la xtreme è sicuramente meglio.
