All that matters is in the real world the SRT would have made the stoplight drag race pass on the Stang and all the rest of them. Indicator signaling lane change and back end of SRT. That's the only win that counts.
Grabbed one of these jeeps a couple years ago wit about 70k on her....stop lights are so much fun when i catch a Subaru, stang, rt, scat pack, ricer acting bad...even Mercedes and bmw sometimes, da torque off a dig is crazy in this 🚚💯
The mustang had 29.867s and won the race but the next race the jeep beat the porche and the jeep made 29.820s so basically the jeep would beat the mustang if it had a rematch
Bryon Haskon it won't, and for a simple reason. The mustang is wayyy more aerodynamic than the jeep, and at high speeds, drag coefficient really matters.
Yeah, Jeep is fast as hell, but it's a brick. At the top end with all the wind drag, the Mustang has the advantage. Gotta love that holeshot the Jeep has tho

The air resistance is getting much too big at higher speeds for this closet-formed SRT. But the power of the engine and the 4x4 ... damn that's impressive. Imagine that in a sportscar. :)
No wonder Jeep rules the straight line battle,since most of its fenders are cheap plastics:)) And when you see the moose test of that same SRT,then it comes clearly that they saved some metal from rollbars,suspension,torsions and etc too..,and the result in terms of power to weight ratio is clear...
