This Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL was built for the Ultimate Adventure 2019 in Alaska. I was fortunate to have been invited on this trip and spend a week wheeling in this Jeep with Ryan. In this video, we take a close up look of all the modifications that have been done to this Jeep built by Smittybilt. It's not your typical build, it's running on 40" tires, has a body lift, coilers and much, much more!

Stormin' Moorman Shackles like that, although not as pretty, have been used in agriculture for about 100 or so years. Just a new take on an oil producer. Still very nice.

I’ve watched a heap of Jeep videos, but this is my favorite Jeep build! This just seems about a perfect Jeep. Of course I’ve never even driven a Jeep, but always liked them.

Me and my hunting buddy were on our way through Glenallen to hunt moose in Delta Junction and pulled into the Tesoro to get diesel and actually got to see all the rigs in person. I couldn’t believe y’all were in Alaska and I actually got to see the amazing rigs. The group later passed us heading north so I got another look 👍🏻. Did the group have a favorite spot in our beautiful state?

That looks like south central Alaska .. Wasilla/Palmer area from the footage you showed. Last time I wheeled down there were for the two "jeep jamboree's way back in ... .. well it was 15-20 years ago, and I don't remember the years (getting old I guess up here in Fairbanks). Nice overview for the mods and organization on the jeep though. It's making me more and more convinced to purchase a 2020 Rubicon (2 door) and beef it up a little as a photo transport rig.

Love the front bumper. I have the same on on my JK. Was in an accident a few weeks ago and it bent my frame rails but barely damaged the bumper. Those are a beast. They actually used the bumper as a attachment point to pull the frame back into alignment before they put the new one on.

Very nice Brad... I really enjoyed the overview of the rig. I doubt my JL will ever reach that level of build or go anywhere near as awesome as where you guys went. But, it is great to know that my JL is so capable. Guess I’ll stick with the 37’s I just put on and a few more mods to get me around Colorado and Utah easier.

First thing I see is my bumper, still haven’t seen one I’ve liked more. I’m running the exact same tires 17” on 35’s a d love them, I’ve driven for 2 months straight doorless and topless and they are great for for lack of noise.

Troy Allen Smittybilt as the brand has been sold several times. It’s been owned by 4WP for about 15 years. They still sell double tube bumpers just like the original.
