It's my 51st birthday and just some reflection of not celebrating my birthday for the first 46 years and how it affects children at the time and us years later.
Wishing you the happiest birthday! 🎂 Isn’t it wonderful we can now say that without any kind of guilt or shame? Thank you for sharing your birthday with us so we get the joy of sending you well wishes & generally celebrating the existence of other beautiful human beings. 💕
Wishing you a very happy birthday Deanna June, I hope you have had a great day xx I really enjoyed listening to you last night on Joe and Fran, I could really relate to what you were saying and admire your openness and honesty so much, also love this video, “Undeserved kindness!!!” Hugs and love from Spain ❤
Thank you so much! I appreciate you and I'm happy if I can help others, that's why I try and be open about what I've struggled with in life. 😉🩷 Love from Pittsburgh PA USA
Happy Birthday June! Best Wishes sent your way for a Wonderful Day full of Love and Joy and Many more to come. You deserve the Best. Your hair looks fine and You look Great. Thanks for sharing this I definitely hear You and understand what you went through and what the JW'S more or less made us go through otherwise they would lay the guilt trip on us. Thanks So Much for this and Blessings to You! Enjoy Your Special Day! Hugs. 🎂🥳🎊
Awe, thanks! You're so sweet and I appreciate you!!! We were always being 'scared' into submission as kids and they still do it today! It's a shame and it needs to stop!
Happy Birthday!!!🎉🎂 Haven't seen you on YT for awhile, although I've cut back drastically on watching ExJW stuff. Looking good! Nice see that you are in a good space.☺️
Thank you so much! I took a long break, that was much needed! I'm here for now, but it's not a forever gig for me. I understand needing a break from ExJW stuff. I'm getting there myself...
Hooray, for Thomas! Hooray for celebrating trips around the sun! Hooray for this gift of life and spreading love, instead of hate! Happy birthday! 🎂🎊🎁🎈🎉
Thank you!!!! 🩷🥳 That makes me think of the Prince song! 😆, "tonight we goina party like it's 1999!" Hope you got past it feeling not comfortable and enjoy it now!!!
@@JustDeannaJune It took a couple of Birthdays and Christmas's to be able to just enjoy it all. Now it's easier, I have a son now, and his joy is amazing to experience. Glad you can celebrate YOUR day now, and heal your younger you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm sure I'll get to that feeling one day! Lol, my grandma is about to turn 95 in less than 2 weeks! So there is some serious longevity in the family! I also had my great grandma on my dad's side live to 103! So at the moment, I'm excited about watching the time tick by, but again, I realize, at some point, that may very well change! 😁💗
Happy Birthday, June! ❤ We all need to be reminded we are special to someone, to be appreciated, to build-up one another. JWs miss out on all of that and children stand alone in drafty. corridors while the class eats a cupcake and bats around balloons. That is sad, I know. I did that to my son until a brave teacher spoke truth to me: how it was cruel. She didn’t care if she got fired or not. She helped to wake me up. THAT’s an Educator! It saved my son and I that day. JWs are so put on “automatic AI”, that they are literally in a trance. Fear. So, June, HAPPY BIRTHDAY from a much older lady! My son is your age and my daughter a bit younger and we really celebrate now, all these years! I love to blow those paper things that uncurl, with the feather...right in their faces! We couldn’t play with those as JWs! So celebrate, celebrate, celebrate and know you are SPECIAL, APPRECIATED, and LOVED!!!! ❤🌹🙏🏻🎈🧁🍦🍪🧁🎂🎁🧸🎈!!!!!
Thank you for loving and courageous words, they are like a big hug! 🤗 I appreciate you saying that so very much and what a teacher! I thank her for her bravery too! I'm going out to a Latin Kitchen to eat up in style on Saturday and to celebrate! I can't wait! 😉🥳🎂💗
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I think Job sons celebrated their birthdays ,I'm still shady about birthdays, but we must elevate ourselves ..in jesus birth he received gifts and was elevated
Thank you for sharing your thoughts as well! I always end my videos by saying... "Be yourself and be well." Because we all need to figure out what works for us individually and therefore brings us comfort, strength and the determination to help ourselves and others. I hope you have a wonderful evening! ☺️🌙✨
Jesus was brought gifts when he was born ❤ We are all special made in the image of God!! It makes me so sad for all the children who were deprived of their Birthdays! I eat a cupcake every chance I get😊
You look so hot to be 51!!! Even though you had struggled with alcohol, but your looks, your skin, your smile.... Wow!! Congratulations. If you go into fitness and wellness, the body can regenerate. You are a beautiful woman no matter what, but what I am trying to say is that, the way you look is also something remarkable. Keep on going....
Wow! Thank you!!! I'll take that amazing compliment, though I don't know that I see things quite like you do when I look in the mirror! 😆😉 I've worked very hard to regain my life back. Fortunately I didn't start drinking until I was 37. So the first 37 years I honestly took pretty good care of myself. I ate too much, but always included healthy food, and I loved to exercise. And I think that has helped me to bounce back! I do yoga 5/6 days a week now, that gives me so much energy and yet at the same time... calmness and clarity. Sobriety, therapy, yoga and being free of the JW organization has been an amazing combo to a wonderful way of living. And I guess it translates into my appearance. Thank you for your lovely words! I appreciate them from the bottom of my heart! 💖✨
I didn't celebrate birthdays growing up either, but I don't remember missing them too much. I always seemed to notice the kids and grownups who were disappointed on their birthdays. Like all pagan observances, they are full of fake and contrived adoration. I celebrated my birthdays when I got older and left the JW congregation. But then I grew more mature and realized that birthdays are all about the individual's ego so they feel important or noticed for a day. I don't miss all the hype at all. I can appreciate surviving another year in this hopeless system, and go out to dinner and enjoy time with friends any day or multiple days of the year, who genuinely are more like family and who love me without making the occasion all about ME. There's enough narcissism in the world. I know a lot of JW kids who don't think much about birthday celebrations, just like worldly kids don't think much about observing the Memorial of Christ's sacrifice every year. Don't feel sorry for our children, they are not deprived,. Unlike children who's parents put on a sugarless diet, or who are expected to live out their parents life fantasies of stardom or fame or wealth, or kids who are raised to serve and die for national interests because their family member did. It's not like JW kids are deprived of truth about God and don't know about God's plan for the future so they don't have to live in fear for their own futures. Who cares what day you were born if you're not making yourself known to God and pursuing his gifts for you like, living forever on a new restored earth?
Yeah... We definitely see things differently, but that's what makes life great to me. You can have your opinion and I can have mine. Thanks for sharing. 👍
@@JustDeannaJune You've been grown up for a while, you're getting old when you should be young. What's to celebrate? If you think about it, you only get one birthday. Over 50, the rest are a celebration of the fact that you've survived another 364 days since the last celebration. As you can see the 18 years I was inactive made me very cynical about the world and it's customs. It's inevitable that if we ever believed and know that what the Bible says is from God and is true, we will feel the pain as Satan rips away the curtain and laughs at us mockingly. His joy is to draw us further and further away from Jehovah's protection and render Christ's sacrifice in vain on our behalf. We may see things differently now, but I hope you might feel differently later.
@@cugrngneerI find it interesting that you decided to go back to being a JW or at least that's what I'm gathering from your comments, yet you are on a 'apostate' RU-vid channel engaging with an apostate in conversation, completely going against everything directed to you by Jehovah's channel, that, of course, being the Governing Body... How about you be you, and I'll be me! This is the last time I will be responding to you. I'm not looking to be 'saved', but I appreciate your efforts. 😉 I sincerely hope you have a wonderful day! 💗
@@JustDeannaJune The GB doesn't police us, but Bible principles and examples guide us. I understand and respect why the brothers counsel us about apostates the way they do. I shared my experience with you because I also know both world's (Jehovah's and Satan's). When I left, I was so sure I would never be part of organized faith again. I was very removed from Jehovah. I just wanted you to know that we cannot rule out the possibilities of our own personal change. With time, we all change in the most unexpected ways. A change of heart is not impossible and you may come home some day. That's my hope for anyone who has left. No expectation. Have a nice evening.
Good for you! Enjoy your birthday, you don't get worried about other Jehovah's witnesses, you eat your cake n be happy. I wonder what you did for 46 years 🤔🤔🤔
@@PrincessMargaretJoacquim1111 well you are welcome here. I don't tell anyone not to be a JW on my channel, I just tell ppl to be themselves... No matter what that looks like. I also tell ppl my personal experience of being a JW for 46 yrs. I'm not DFed or disassociated. Mostly, I hope you have a wonderful day! 💗
❤ Happy Birthday, June. (pssst, even Jobs kids “celebrated each their own day”) So happy you can enjoy this day. (There’s a video “Caleb and Sophia all Grown Up” where Caleb comes our as gay)
